I don't know about everyone else but after the purchase of a very brand new phone, in some cases a thousand dollars or so just a few tweaks would make me feel very comfortabl, like my phone was in a oversized baseball glove lol

It's not too tight that it might cause damage slamming into the phone, but it's enough to keep the phone in place during normal driving. I really like the opening and closing mechanism, feels much more reliable and less tedious than other stands that require to hold down a button.
