I’ve tried using it on my dash and windshield, it won’t hold even when you press firmly down. I’d stick with vent mounts instead

Falls off constantly, suction cup/adhesive fails after 1-2 min, phone holder piece breaks and snaps into stuck position.

The suction cup will usually adhere to most windshields easily due to the smooth surface, whereas the effectiveness of the mount on the dashboard can vary slightly, depending on how much texture or curvature there is. It also did not stick to my window. With that said I am very dissapointed.

Although this is not common, if your dashboard is heavily textured or curved, it may not be compatible, in which case we would recommend mounting it to the windshield.

But now it just seems like the adhesive is crap. I stuck it to the dash as opposed to the window. Kind of shoddy ya ask me.
