Lasted a little over 15 months

During hot weather this year, the adhesive failed. The pin closest to the suction cup also broke, which means the arm droops down. Useless at this point.

The suction cup will usually adhere to most (if not all) windshields easily due to the smooth surface, whereas the effectiveness of the mount on the dashboard can vary slightly, depending on how much texture or curvature there is. If your dashboard is textured or curved, it may not be compatible, in which case we usually recommend mounting it to the windshield. missing pieces

Avoid

I’ve tried using it on my dash and windshield, it won’t hold even when you press firmly down. I’d stick with vent mounts instead
