The suction cup will usually adhere to most windshields easily due to the smooth surface, whereas the effectiveness of the mount on the dashboard can vary slightly, depending on how much texture or curvature there is. Although this is not common, if your dashboard is heavily textured or curved, it may not be compatible, in which case we would recommend mounting it to the windshield.

Poor cell holder

Will stick but 2 minutes later falls off. Tried it multiple times with or without a phone. Results all the same. Falls off

But now it just seems like the adhesive is crap. I stuck it to the dash as opposed to the window. Kind of shoddy ya ask me.
