This worked well for the first few months but then phone kept sliding down. Much better products out there

Had high hopes for this, but fell short. Maybe too rough with it, but broke tips soon after started using .

Point blank it sucks. I have an iPhone 7+ and some days it would hold but most days the phone would just slide out. Took it back and got the one with the magnet. I like that one for the most part.

This item does not stay secure in my CD SLOT- 2011 Lexus- slips and falls of weight of phone-

This kept falling out of the vent. I would not recommend it. I bought a suction cup phone holder which works better.

What a disappointment. This thing will cause you to have a wreck as it just falls suddenly. Horrible!

I want to start by exalting iOttie's customer service. They are responsive, generous, and polite. I once ordered one of their mounts as a gift, and when someone swiped it off my porch - around Christmas no less - they replaced it for free and got it to me immediately. The Easy One Touch Mini CD Slot Car Holder Used with iPhone 5s, 5c, and 6 plus Pros: Simple to use and install. Sturdy construction - holds phone's position well and phone does not slip. Complete and common sense adaptor pieces to fit different phones and CD slots. In a Subaru Impreza and Volvo, the mount's position is perfect for visibility and safety. Typically, right at dash level or a little above so you don't have to take your eyes too far away from the road. Easy to adjust to your personal 'perfect position' - whether it's landscape or portrait - to just the right angle to satisfy your OCD and attraction to symmetry. Built in cable clamps on the back keep cables nice and tidy when the phone's not in the mount. Cons: On the Subaru, the mount blocks 5 of the 6 radio station buttons - this is when the phone is IN the mount. When the phone is not out of the mount, it doesn't block anything. The expansion clamp that slides into the CD slot and expands to hold the mount in place is difficult to disengage. This is fine if you plan to leave the mount in place in a more permanent way, but if you remove from the car nightly - to leave nothing attractive to car prowlers on the street in your car - or you want to play the occasional CD, it's tricky to disengage the lever. In summary, iOttie provides high quality mounts and this is no exception. It may not be perfect in every car radio configuration, but it's simple to use, works with a variety of phones, is ergonomic, and if it doesn't work, iOttie will work with you to find the perfect mount for your situation.

This is a solid product, good materials, well thought out design. I have been using magnetic mounts because I have an iPhone 7+ but my wife has the smaller 6S. So a cradle that works for both is hard to find. This actually works just as well without having to put the metal piece on your phone. When you put the phone in the cradle, it presses a button which snaps the cradle shut to hold the phone in place. The release levers are really well positioned too, so can grab the phone as you naturally would and release it with a light touch on the side of the cradle. I was surprised at how sturdy it was sitting inside the cd slot. When you insert it, you pull down a lever that locks it into place. A very well engineered product. Except I can't use it. Because the cd slot is at the top of the touch screen and it blocks those controls, including the back up camera. So as long as your cd slot is in a good place, this is a very clever and well executed solution.

Car mount works well with your CD slot and is visible for the driver's use as well as any passenger in the vehicle. The mount is easy to use with different phones. It is easy to install and adjust.

I have used iOttie mounts in the past and have been impressed with the design and. construction of their devices. This was certainly no exception to that statement. The only issue that I had was that my iPhone 6 plus was too heavy for it. The weight of the phone is going to stress the holder and the disc slot of my stereo quite a bit. If I were using something lighter (like an iPod touch), this wouldn't be an issue at all. All things considered, this is a great mountt for a smaller device.

This phone holder is easy to put together and is user friendly. It works as expected. The only con is that my CD player is directly above the screen that displays the backup camera when reversing, so the phone partially blocks some of that screen when the phone is on the holder.

This is a GREAT product. Works well in the CD Drive and is low enough to make it easy to see without any glare. Trouble is that I drive a Jaguar 2008 S-Type and the device sticks out too far from the CD Drive and interferes with the gear shift knob.

I aquired this item elsewhere, but I wanted to share my thoughts here. I want to start by saying I have used lots of mounts by Iottie, and I find them to be a great company with great products. They are always coming up with innovative ways to make mounts that work great. This mount fit perfectly in the CD slot of my BMW. It holds securely in the slot and is easy to install. My phone is not blocking any vital areas of my dash with this mount, your experience may be different depending on where the CD slot is in your car. The mount that holds the phone is great, and iottie has used similar designs in other mounts and it is great. You simply press your phone against the raised dot and it will lock the phone in place. To remove your phone, simply press the 2 bars that extend on the sides of the mount and the phone is released. I love this system, and it makes using the mount super easy with one hand. Great product and great quality. Highly recommended.

I don't listen to CDs anymore, so this seemed like a no brainer. Great: This thing is so freakin sturdy. Even while I was plugging and unplugging my lightning cable it stayed in place. Good: I was able to easily change the position of my phone from left, right, up, down, even horizontal/landscape. You don't realize how valuable this is until you use a cheap mount. Fantastic: This one touch technology is spot on. I sit in the car. Touch the mount. And start driving. Just buy an iOttie mount.

Drive a Mazda CX-5. Since my car is often parked outside, prior dashboard mounts never stuck due to heat/cold. This one installs very easily and holds phone securely, even when mounted high to maximize screen view of back-up camera, etc. Make sure to tighten knob fully. Phone will bounce a bit on highways but remains secure. Very happy with product.

It might depend upon where your CD and and any of your radio or climate control buttons are. In my highlander it covers my radio/cd controls as well as my heat and AC control buttons. Also, I don't like it being lower. With the iOttie Easy One Touch 3 dash holder, the phone is at eye level so keeping your eyes on the road as you check your GPS app is much easier and safer. I also found that I was more likely to have the phone slip through my hands upon removal without any feet to support the bottom. I love the iOttie Easy One Touch 3. Everyone in my family has one and we recommend it to all our friends. I work at home so I am not in my car often and have not had an opportunity to use the CD holder for an extensive amount of time.

iOttie has done it again with this car mount! This car mount is solid, and is perfect for the pothole filled roads of San Francisco. My phone is very well attached to the car mount. The flexible neck allows me to rotate the phone to face either myself (for navigation) or my wife (for controlling music). Full disclosure - this item was given to me complimentary for trail, but I have multiple iOttie car mounts purchased prior and am a big fan of their products.

This mount is great, as CDs are rarely used now anyway. Especially in sedans, where I find windshield mounts put the phone too much "in my face", this CD mounts puts it in an easily viewable and reachable location. If you have a passenger, it allows them to easily switch through music or input addresses into a maps app. It's a solid, high-quality mount, which is what you can expect from iOttie. It holds your phone strong and makes it easy to take it out. I've used their products before and will continue to do so. I'd recommend this CD mount without a doubt, especially if you're struggling for a good spot in which to put your phone in your car.
