Vent phone holders block the vents. If you have an unused cd player in your car then this is the best choice. It holds the phone well and doesnt block any air vents or inconvenience you in any other way.

This works as advertised and I would recommend it. Only issue is that the plastic insert doesn't fit tightly into the CD slot and it rattles enough that the noise is annoying when no music is playing.

If you are not using your CD player this is great! By far the strongest I’ve had and versatile! Great for portrayed or landscape position. And it’s adjustable

The iOttie CD Phone stand is really a great product. After having it for almost a month, I have no major complaints from it. It does its job well, and it has a nice grip onto the phone.

I was worried about no bottom shelf to better secure phone, but pinches just perfect. Like that design does not cover a portion of the screen. Ideal product for its purpose.

I tried this cell phone holder. It didn’t work with my CD player. I first tried the vent holder. It didn’t work all that great.

This is a lot better than suction cups or sticky tape. Fits a little loose in the CD slot. Cardboard seemed to help.

The product functions exactly as advertised. It holds my iPhone 6s Plus securely and I no longer have to have a phone cradle attached to my windshield anymore.

Like it better than vent mounts and magnets. Who wants to block air flow? In my 2014 Chrysler 300S my CD player is down low and out the way so its ideal for me.

I wasn’t sure about this item but gave it a try since I don’t have many options for a car mount in my car. It holds my phone even when the road is bumpy.

Held my phone really well but it was difficult to take out and was scared to break the CD player in the car

Docked 2 stars because 1 jiggles when its in place and 2 the springs holding the phone aren't stong enough.

After years of using windshield mount phone holders, this one works better than anything I've ever used. Sturdy, secure and very functional. I love it.

CD slot is high on my dash and places the iOttie CD slot holder perfectly. It is solid feeling and very adjustable. It easily removes to switch CDs.

after trying several holders finally found one that will work without fail! It is stable and keeps my phone in place and well mounted.

It was pretty easy to assemble. I've used it a couple of times and it works really well. I prefer the CD instead of the vent to attach it.

Works OK. Could use a support underneath. slides out on bumpy roads. Can block nav screen.

Bought this for my car hoping it would be sturdy enough. it works as promised. The swivel works well and the unit stays attached.
