Nice hands free phone holder

Nice Try iOttie — But Try Again

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's a great idea for those applications where you can attach the suction to a smooth surface such as glass and also have the versatility of attaching many different types of devices due to the magnetic system utilized. However, the one I bought would not stay attached for more than a minute or two, even after I “renewed” the stickiness of the suction cup by rinsing in hot water and letting it dry per the instructions. Would not work for me no matter what I did so it is a big fail in my opinion. Plus, it was inconvenient driving all the way back to Best Buy and then standing in line for 20 minutes to return it. What a waste of time! I gave it 2 stars just purely for the concept, even though it didn’t work for me, and I doubt it will work fir anyone else.

Adhesive sucks but doesn’t stick

I ended up mounting it to my windshield and it works okay. Ideally would’ve liked to have been able to mount it to my dashboard like it advertises but the 3M pad doesn’t work.

Hands free stand

It would droop forward and my phone would fall off. I returned and the gel solidified again. I am requesting a replacement as I’m hoping it’s just a defective model.
