It will not stick on anything using vacuum. The sticky pad included was barely sticky and worthless. Would not recommend and definitely not buy again. Wish I could get my money back as not a cheap item

Would not stick to any surface. Instructions were extremely confusing. I threw away the item instead of returning. I took a risk and blame myself. Maybe I just got the wrong instructions?

I have an IPhone 11. My phone was too heavy or the device would not properly suction to my dashboard. Either way the device would not stay up.

the magnate is weak and I really did to use it from second time, it constantly drop my phone while driving! really;y poor

This may be a good phone dock for small sized phones. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and the magnet is not strong enough to keep the phone in place

Installation is straight forward and product comes with very good instructions and illustrations. Simply install dashboard pad in desired spot, remove plastic cover from suction cup and place on dashboard pad. Be sure to press down on the small, black lever at the rear of the mount to ensure suction cup adheres completely to the dashboard. Note that the mount can also be attached to the windshield using the suction cup only should one want to temporarily move it. Next, proceed to attach large, metal plate inside your phone case. Finally, place protective film on smart phone and follow by placing small metal plate on top of film. It is recommended to let adhesive on metal plate sit for at least 30 minutes prior to mounting your phone to any iTap 2 mount. The adjustable, swivel, tilt mechanism of the mount is more than adequate for varying positions and is tight to ensure that it maintains the set position. I've had no issues with any functionality of my smart phone and am happy with the quality and functionality of this iTap Magnetic 2 dashboard and windshield mount. I'd highly recommend it.

Can stick well on my dashboard, and the one that supposed to stick on my phone kept on falling off. So fake.

This mount can not hold up my iPhone XS Max. I’ve tried several times to mount it and it just falls over. Wouldn’t recommend.

The product was not stable or reliable. I had to hold the product up instead of it sticking to the dashboard. Waste of money.

This Mount would not arrive in my car. I have a curved dash and did not stick

I'm not generally a fan of phone mounts since my experience has been they are cheaply made and depending on where you live and the driving conditions, they just don't last. The iOttie iTap 2 Magnetic Dash & Windshield Mount has change my opinion on the quality issue. Out of the box, you can just feel that the Ottie iTap 2 is better made than some of of the alternatives. It comes with a powerful suction cup for use on the windshield which requires no adhesives. If you want to mount the iTap 2 on your dash, you'll need to use the included adhesives to attach the mounting plate to your dash and then use the suction cup directly to the plate. I'm not a huge fan of using any kind of adhesives on my car so I only used the suction cup. Even in some mid 90s outside temps (inside the car probably closer to 110-115), the suction cup held firm. To use the mount with your phone, you need to attach one of the included metal plates to the back of your phone. There is a smaller plate and a larger plate. The smaller plate should be sufficient for almost any phone, but particularly for those that utilize wireless charging as the plate can interfere with that capability. As I mentioned earlier, I'm not a fan of adhesives as they are a pain if you ever try to remove them. If you have a case that has enough room behind your phone, you can simply put the case on your phone over the metal plate. It fit fine in my Silk case and kept me from having to use adhesive on my beautiful phone. The small magnet was sufficient to keep my phone in place in all but the worst bump on the crumbling streets of Memphis and that's saying a lot. Given that that these mounts are of more use to me on longer out of town drives where the roads aren't nearly as bad, I'm thoroughly impressed. The mounting arm had good range of motion without being too loose. It looks and feels like a quality accessory in my car so I'm very pleased to use this and recommend to anyone looking for a nice mounting option.
