Works very well. Installation was a breeze--I chose to have it on my dashboard versus on the windshield. The dashboard pad sticks very firmly down and definitely will not move or come off, and the suction cup is super strong. I like the infinite ways I can adjust the various angles and positions of my iPhone, due to the rotating ball joint behind the magnetic mounting face and the pivot knob. For reference, I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max with an Apple MagSafe Silicone Case. My iPhone in its MagSafe case attaches to the mounting face with just the right amount of magnetic pull--not so weak that you'll worry it'll slide off or dislodge at any bumps or turns of the car, but not so strong either that you'll be wrestling it off the mount or needing two hands when taking your iPhone off. The wireless charging is quick; I did not experience any significant difference compared to when I'm using my Apple MagSafe charger at home. All in all, it's a really convenient way to charge and use an iPhone (with MagSafe capability) hands-free in a vehicle environment. Quick note: if your car does not support wireless CarPlay, you will still have to connect your iPhone via a USB-A to lightning cable in order to utilize CarPlay.

Lasted 4 weeks out of return period threw it in the trash. Don’t waste your money.

So far, this mount is holding my phone nicely. It is so nice to have the phone instantly stick to strong magnets. I took it on a road trip over some bumpy backroads and my phone has not fallen off the mount yet. For reference, I am using the latest iPhone Pro in a ruggedized case, made for MagSafe. When it comes to charging speed, my battery increased by 34% in about one hour. The screen was on the entire time for GPS navigation. The mount is rated at 7.5 watts. While it is not extremely fast, I think it is adequate for me. I do not want it to charge so fast that it overheats the battery. From what I have read, heat is a problem for the fastest MagSafe chargers. They end up needing to slow down anyway, so 7.5 watts seems like a reasonable compromise. The suction cup easily adhered to the windshield. It seems to be sturdy. Only time will tell if it remains that way. That is the main way windshield mounts seem to fail, but there is no way to test it without heat and cold extremes over a long period of time. In the meantime, I have no concerns. The only negative I have is that it would be really nice if the arm itself was longer. Even with the extension out, it is a long reach for me to touch my phone. One other little annoyance is that the instructions do not say how to extend the arm. Eventually, I figured out that it extends out simply by pulling it with a big enough force. Thankfully, the cord has a great length. It is important to note that the plug is USB-C, but it comes with a USB-C cigarette lighter adapter in case you do not already have the outlet. In my case, I have multiple USB-A outlets, but no C. At the end of the day, it appears to be a nice MagSafe mount and charger. I would buy it and recommend it to friends unless I found one of the same quality with a longer, extendable arm.

This is the first suction cup style mount that works on any surface in your vehicle. As we know most suction cups adhere to the windows just fine, it is the dash surface that can be tricky. This device comes with an adhesion disk that is suitable for those hard to secure dashes. I have tried it in both of my vehicles and have not had an issue with either one. The surface of the suction cup is somewhat sticky and aids in the gripping power. Even on a dirty dash it won’t come lose. The USB type C connecter was at first a turnoff when I took it out of the package. That is, until I saw the 12v power plug that came with it. So even if your car is not equipped with a USB-C outlet you can still plug it into a 12-volt power port in your car. Being an iPhone user, I can say this is 100% Mag Safe compatible. My truck lacks any sort of navigation, and this is perfect for that application. It will charge the phone while the map app of my choice is routing me to my destination without losing battery power. A day of driving to multiple stops had severely drain my battery in an 8-hour time frame without charging. Now I don’t have to worry about that. The magnet that holds the phone in place the by far the strongest that I have used to mount my phone. I had another brand of Mag Safe charger that required an additional piece of metal to get the full magnet strength to hold the phone in place. This one does not need that even over some pretty big bumps in the road due to construction the phone stayed put. Another nice feature is the telescoping arm. This allows more options to locations to mount it. The arm at first is a bit stiff to pull out. I suggest that you grasp the base and mount in either hand and gently but firmly pull them apart to get the telescope to slide the first time. If you are looking for a wireless charger to hold your phone in place while you go about your day driving around, this is the one to get. Everything you need to hold and charge your phone is in the box. No need to buy additional cords or power adapters. This is the most plug and play as it gets.

With MagSafe on my phone, I've found a new love for accessories that work well with it. This one does a really good job as a stand for your phone in the car while also keeping your phone topped off. Setup is really easy. Everything comes out together for the most part. Just put stick the suction cup where you want it on your car's dash (or windshield) and plug it in to a lighter or other USB-C plug. The suction cup doesn't seem like it would be that great but it works really well. I was expecting it to give out after a few days but it's still holding strong just stuck to my dashboard. It's sticky as well as having the lever to increase the suction so both methods together work really well in holding it even on a porous surface like a car dashboard. The MagSafe connector isn't super stiff but it does hold its position pretty well. It's actually really easy to move around but it stays where you leave it very well. Charging capabilities are top notch for wireless charging as well. No complaints. It feels like it's plugged in. Overall, my old MagSafe car charger that attached to my vent is now relegated to a backup charger and this one has taken the throne.

This product is for iPhone users only. I have a hard time wrapping my head around a magnetic phone Mount that requires you to remove the case in order to have the magsafe optional. The strength of the magnet is pretty good. As long as I don't get into an accident it will hold, I'm just not comfortable taking my case off is all. There are iPhone cases that are mag safe, friendly and I would have to purchase one of those to feel safe putting it on. The versatility of the product is standard. You can either mount it on the windshield or mounted on the dash with the included stand. The stand however needs to be 3M adhesive to the dash. This may cause concern in terms of reusing the stand. While plugged in to the cars USB or with a included USB car charger, The product can charge your phone as you have it mounted. This is great because it eliminates the need for a second wire to be plugged in to the car. Overall, the product isn't star studded quality, but I would definitely purchase it as long as I had the case that allows it to stay on the phone

So happy with this car mount! Ever since I got an iPhone 13 mini last year, I’ve been looking at ways to maximize the MagSafe feature of it. The best way I could utilize it would be for a car mount, but not many were available at the time or the reviews weren’t great. For years I’ve always struggled to find the perfect car mount for my phone, trying to fumble with securing the phone on there and taking it off easily, with not much luck. One of the best accessory inventions to come about is this MagSafe mount for cars….while charging! Setup was very easy and straightforward. You can mount it directly on the windshield or you can mount it on the dashboard by sticking a plastic pad to it, on which you would mount the phone on. I went ahead and mounted mine on the windshield to see how I like it. I cleaned the glass and when it was dry, stuck it on there. Seems sturdy and can handle the phone pulls with the strong attraction of the magnet. Phone isn’t going anywhere once its on there either. One thing I did to improve the phone was to add an automated function of opening a clock app (Using Apple Shortcuts). When the phone is on there charging the screen is just black and boring, so by using this automation, when I place it on a charger it shows the time, battery life, and date on there. Only thing I wish they did different was include a dual port car charging adapter. It’s a USB C connection and they only include 1 USB-C port. Have an adapter with 1 USB-C and 1 USB-A would have been perfect, but you can always purchase one of these separately. Even though I’ve had this for only a few days, I’m very happy with it. Highly recommend for any iPhone with a MagSafe option.

I love Magsafe technology and I always want to have my phone in my line of site while driving. I've been using cheap stick on products from Amazon for years, but was tired of the poor quality. I wanted to give this charger a shot in my Jeep since I'm fairly close to the windshield and thought that this would give me a great view of the phone while also keeping it close enough to use when stopped or parked. The setup could not be easier; it comes with disc that would protect your dashboard, but I chose to mount this on the window. The suction is credibly strong and easily locks to keep in place. The arm has a dial to tighten it or loosen it, making it easy to lower and raise and the arm even extends out a few inches which is a nice touch. The Magsafe holds my iPhone 13 Pro perfectly, even with a case on it, in either landscape or portrait mode. I hit quite a few bumps while driving and the phone didn't show any signs of slipping off. The attached power cable is plenty long for all situations and it comes with a USB-C charger. I wish this charged faster than 7.5W, but it still gets the job done nicely. The phone is secure and I have easy access to it. Great product.

I replaced a standard iOttie dash mount with this one since I have a magsafe compatible case for my phone. I did not get any issues with the installation. It was quick and I was able to mount it on my dash with the strong suction. I also like that I can extend the easily adjustable telescopic arm for optimal viewing angles. This car mount keeps my iPhone charged as I use my phone map while driving. It also charges my phone fast and before I know it, my phone is fully charged and ready to be used when I get out from the car. Now I don’t have to worry that my phone will run out of battery and force me to pull the charger cable while on the way. It helps that this mount is not too obstructive so your view of the road is not obstructed. This is an amazing car mount that I would definitely recommend to my friends. Obviously you will need a magsafe compatible phone or phone case in order to use this wireless charging car mount. I am becoming a fan of iOttie products because I have not been disappointed with the products that I have used.

Finally! I can easily control my music and incoming calls easily when I’m driving our older suv. One of our vehicles doesn’t have Bluetooth or anything and is kind of a pain. Now my phone is in reach without breaking driving laws in my state and it’s always charged. I love the different set up options and how many different ways I can move the phone and that it’s held securely. It was super easy to set up and install. Nothing crazy to put together and I can easily move it from spot to spot as needed. Seems to charge my phone well and stays connected. I like that I don’t need to plug in several wires to charge my phone and listen to music with the aux cord. This is such a nice option for people with older vehicles or to use instead of a basic car charger. This keeps my phone secure, safe and out of the way while I’m driving. My husband has already requested we buy one for his vehicle after using it this weekend. I would highly recommend this to any iPhone user, this is a must have for me now.
