. . .but when I tried to use phone, with new replaced battery, phone kept on shutting down, restarting, and asking for password.i will return to Geeks and hope they will fix it.

I had an appointment at 3:40PM. When i reached the store, i need to wait for 20 min to get the agent. There is no point of getting appointment, If you need to stand in line. Then the agent don't know what to do, So he keep asking my details for another 40 min. till someone else came to rescue him and process my phone for battery replacement. Overall it took one and half hour to give the phone to replace the battery. I am so disappointed with best buy service. Might go to apple directly from next time.

Happy for 30 days

Battery seemed to work well the first 30 days and after that went back to constantly dying on me. Took it back in and was told I can buy another battery at full price or buy a new iPhone. Very disappointed in Apple/Best Buy. Was told “I’ve never seen this happen before” by one tech and “you probably got a defective battery from us; too bad it’s past the return days” from another. My iPhone is still randomly crashing and says needs to be serviced after they “serviced” battery.

The agent told me my iphone battery was not stock which was completely untrue. It was the battery that came with the phone that I actually bought from Best Buy themselves. After a very long time and back and forth they realized it was stock. If you're somewhat handy you can buy an official OEM battery yourself and change it out.

After battery replacement, battery was draining super fast and phone was getting hot . Eventually Apple replaced the device .

Battery replacement for iPhone

For as much as we pay for iPhones battery replacements should be free. But overall worked good

Took phone back to store as the my phone should not have said Service Battery as it couldn’t calculate the life and condition of the phine. Store told me it was a iOS problem. I called Apple and they said NO IT ISn’t the iOS

Not only was my phone not fixed, it
came back in worse shape after 2 weeks . The SIM card was missing! Either Apple or the Geek squad removed the SIM card.
Apple said they sent me an e mail saying they could not repair it which I never received.

the agent told me they replaced with oem battery from apple, i got the iphone 7 after a week, then i test it for a day but battery life drain so fast that my old iphone with maximum capacity of 87% last longer than 100% iphone 7.

After 2 hours, they finally said they couldn't change the battery because there was evidence of water damage. My phone worked fine - no issues due to water (I didn't even know there was water damage!). The battery issue was picked up by the iOS that indicated a battery issue - decreased life and not able to charge fully. Even though they did nothing, my phone still works fine.

Never worked as proper replacement

The battery in this phone failed almost immediately after replacement. It never worked properly. Battery swelled within days and product has been sitting in storage.

A month after I replaced my battery it began expanding on its own and changing the shape of my phone. Battery worked worse than before. I thought replacing the battery will allow me to keep this a backup or travel phone... but that’s not the case. I would’ve been better off if I used it as a trade in. Once again Best Buy geek squad is crap!
