I was extremely hesitant in setting up an appointment at Best Buy to replace my iPhone 6 batter. My phone is my lifeline, and being without it for a mere hour is worrisome to me -- I have family in Pittsburgh along with a job that has called me for offered overtime. However, my battery was lasting maybe 6 hours with very minimal use. I even had an expensive Mophie case that I would use to "charge" my phone three times throughout the day to give me enough juice until bedtime in which the case and iPhone battery needed charged. I had the dilemma of either spending about $30 to get the battery changed, or spend $1,000 in getting a new phone. As I am going back to school in the fall, money is tight, so I wanted to try and give the battery change a first try, and I am happy I did! The Geek Squad techs were great and reassuring! I happily wandered the store, and were prompt to let me know the swap was done! Now my battery lasts all day without needing a charge! It saved me a new phone! Now I am telling all my family members to take advantage of this opportunity if their batteries are less than optimal.

I had my iPhone battery switched out by Geek Squad. I went in the store and went over to the Geek Squad counter and they immediately diagnosed it. That was free and took about twenty minutes. They showed me that my battery was not working properly which was causing issues with my phone. After that I set up a time to come back and have my battery replaced. I dropped off my phone for that appointment and they called me back about 2 hours later. My phone looked exactly the same. There were no marks from taking it apart and it has been working properly again ever since. All the issues I was experiencing related to the battery have stopped. The phone overall is working like new again. It was very inexpensive and hassle free to use this service. I would recommend Geek Squad to anyone else who is having an issue with their iPhone battery.

The service was quick and friendly. The technician was very knowledgeable and noticed immediately that the phone screen looked odd. After removing the case and the privacy screen, she noticed the battery was swollen and was slightly pushing the screen away from the phone! In and out very quick while I ran a few errands. I 100% recommend and will be a returning customer in the future. Thanks Geek Squad!!

The whole process was great except when it came to letting me know when my phone was ready to pick up. Instead of calling me at the number I left with them they emailed me. I didn’t have access to my phone and I was out of town so I couldn’t go home and check my email. Other than that it was great and really pretty fast

Probably even more important than phone features is the battery life. When you are recharging your phone after only a few hrs of use, this gets old fast. Geek squad in an authorized Apple Service Provider. With a new battery in a fraction of the time it would take at an Apple Store, my iPhone 8 is working normally again.

Battery replacement by Best Buy was very efficient

The Geek Squad replaced the battery in my iPhone. Easy and affordable.

Was having problems with my phone where the whole unit would get super hot and a faint purple line would appear on the screen. Turns out the battery was expanding and pressing up against the back of the LCD screen in the unit. Best Buy took out the old battery, put a new one in, and I haven't had any problems since.

The process went smoothly and fast. Everything was done.
