I bought a Roomba to help keep up with the dog hair. I have a basset hound and a golden retriever. The golden's hair tends to get wound around the brushes requiring them to be cleaned every day or so. Also the reservoir fills up pretty quickly. I will still use it because over all I am spending less time vacuuming and the dog hair is more under control. It just needs more babysitting than it would for homes without dogs or those with only small or short haired dogs.

I purchased this Roomba because we recently got a new dog. We have cherry hardwood floors throughout our home and his hair was everywhere! Now I set the roomba to run at midnight and wake up to clean floors!

This thing is a beast. I am so pleased with how it cleans. You have to make sure that you do maintenance on it because he will need to be cleaned routinely. Great product with a great eye for cleaning. I am so pleased.

I love my Roomba...I should have invested in one much sooner!! Cleans the carpet and the tile in the kitchen...picks up everything a regular vacuum leaves behind.

Overall I'd say this is a good unit. It does not clean every inch of the floor every time it runs, but if you run it 2-3 days in a week, it will cover all the floor. It does a really good job on the edge of the floors under cabinets too.

Yes family time it vacuums so well you don't have to vacuum as much highly recommend this. just change the filters and empty to keep it running like new

Great model with just the right features for our first unit.

My floor is always clean now. I have it on a regular schedule and can pause it if I need to or if there's company. It transitions easily from my carpet to the hardwood floor and back again. I drop it in my kids room, shut the door and it does the rest. It will suck up strings and cables so just like with a regular vacuum you need to remove those items from the floor prior to running it. What's really cool is that it has sensors so it won't fall down the stairs. I've named it R2D2.

Its a great idea and it works really well. Goes over carpet or hardwood. Easy to clean up and change the filters. What's not to like? Get everything off the floor and let it do its job.
