This thing is a back saver and time saver . programmed to do what ever it wants 3 days a week .. tues thurs sat .. whole house is tiled (ceramic / proclain ) so away it goes , under beds etc .. then eventually back to charging station .. sometimes it gets stuck under chairs or on top of beveled pedistals like floor fan bottoms .. it will go into bathroom and then bumps door which it pushes close .. then no way out . As long as you know this you can check to see where it is .. Charge last quite a while and it is so powerful it pushes chairs and trash cans across floor .!!! cleans very well except in tight corners . round versus square issue . would recommend .. I don't have pets and the small container would fill quickly with their hair.

I was amazed at the pickup. These cleaning bots will be in every home in the way future.. like having a TV, Microwave, or an Air Conditioner in your home. The vacuum bots work even better on hard floors at picking up debris versus carpet. If you have hard floors, and can afford it, you can't go wrong w/ your newly adopted standard of living.

I love my roomba! We have two dogs and a cat so I can't keep up with all the hair by myself, this does a great job picking it up. The bin is always full so I know it is picking tons of stuff up. I wouldn't be able to have wood floors without it.

The vacuum is very convenient, but after three years, the battery completely failed to hold a charge. Had to return for a refund. Bought one for my in-laws and the battery did the same thing and was replaced after only a few months. Two years later, the vacuum also stopped working completely. The suction on the vacuum is OK for just daily cleaning, but definitely doesn't replace a traditional vacuum cleaner.

This is a great vacuum cleaner. I have it scheduled to go everyday at lunch time when I'm at work. When I come home, all my floors are clean. The price seems a little steep for a vacuum, but I still love it.

My husband has mild pet allergies and was after me to sweep the house more often. As a Christmas gift to both of us, I bought our roomba, and it was the best gift! "Bob" is set to roam the house 3 times a week, and it amazes me how much dust and hair (both human and cat) he cleans up! Bob travels in erratic patterns, and sometimes doesn't always get to every corner I wish he would, but on the whole, he does the work I don't want to, so I can't complain. The virtual walls are very useful in keeping him out of rooms that are too cluttered (where he would inevitably end up stuck and stranded). I empty the bin after each use and clean the brushes every other time. Bob was expensive, but worth every penny.

Best purchase I have made in a long time. I have 3 indoor dogs and this little guy helps me keep the dog hair under control. I have no complaints and would highly recommend this product.

New owner of two adopted dogs. The roomba does a great job at getting the dog fur out of the carpet, automatically and on a daily schedule.

The main reason to get this gizmo is to save you some time. I have it set up on a schedule to run at night to clean the main level of the house. I will also move it to the second floor to clean the bedrooms as needed. What I really like is that it will go under the beds, which normally are only done on a seasonal basis. There is some maintenance for this robot. It is great at picking up hair. As a result, you will need to clean the brush more frequently than the standard upright vacuum. Keep a look out for the filters to go on sale too. It will not replace using a "manual" vacuum for deep cleaning but it does a good job with the rugs and hardwood floors.

Good on tile and hardwood, spinny foot flicks crumbs out to middle of floor leaving you hoping it goes back over that area to pick it up in its crazy cleaning pattern, sweeps over only the tops of carpet doesn't get in deep. I also bought a neato signature pro and it blows Roomba out of the water, and the neato picked up more hair on my bare floors than Roomba ever did. Sorry IRobot you need improvements. Good on bare floors but not great.

For the price, I was expecting a little more. It performs ok with vacuuming an area but it does miss some spots so you have to run a few times to get all the dirty areas. The way in which the roomba decides where to go seems like like it can be improved. If this was a 100 bucks cheaper, I think this is a better buy. Right now I dont feel that it runs that efficiently for the current price (~$500). Battery life needs works. The bay in which the dirt is kept needs to be larger as it can fillup quickly.

i got this and love it .I have kids and this makes it easy to run ever day to clean up the mess the kids leave worth ever penny

We have a black lab that sheds all the time. Before we bought our Roomba we were vacuuming almost every other day. We have hard wood floors and rugs and Roomba is great on both. It's great with dog hair and we love not having to waste time vacuuming. Such a great time-saver!

We have had two previous Roomba's that worked great but had battery issues. This one has been great so far.

This is the second Roomba, I have had. I wore out the first one and this is the replacement. This Roomba is quieter than the first one I had, but still has the exceptional cleaning power. I really love being able to set the Roomba to claim while I in a way from home, this is really a timesaver.

Very nice product! This is my second roomba, and they just get better. This one really handles the cat hair.

Great helper for every day cleanup and we have named her Rosy. Just one more step closer to my flying car.

My roomba cleans relatively well but hasn't adapted to the house and leaves areas uncleaned. Doesn't seem to clean in an efficient manner. Will spead need a second vauum cleaner.

Was real excited when getting this for my wife as a gift. We gave it a few weeks to test it out. We used it primarly on hardwood floor surface but also tried on our carpeted areas. Neither performed as well as we'd like, it left traces behind. Good idea, and I think it was significantly cheaper it would be worth it. But for the cost and its inefficiency we had to return it.

Love the iRobot! I recommend this to everyone who has less time to do the house chores in their busy lives!
