Almost there

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While better than it’s predecessor it does have an issue of introducing character actions then abandoning them at the halfway point, this is mostly just from Tony Stark’s PTSD from the events of the first Avengers film. It’s a cool story to tell, how a hero deals with the aftermath of an event, but it’s gone the last half of the film.

Iron Man 3 is a great conclusion to the trilogy

Robert Downey Jr. feels at ease portraying the character of Tony Stark. The movie has the usual humor and wit as expected from this series. The plot is good, the acting is good, and the special effects are good. The plot twist regarding The Mandarin was well done. The only cons include that I felt the War Hammer \ Iron Patriot character seemed shoehorned in, and the main antagonist villain breathing fire sort of pushes the boundaries of suspension of disbelief, even in a Marvel universe full of magic powers and super heroes. The Airforce One scenes were rather excellent. Having seen the first two Iron Man films and both of The Avengers films, but waiting for a long time to see Iron Man 3, it feels good to have concluded the Tony Stark story arc, at least from within the Iron Man sub-series.
