So if you havent seen this movie on a great home theater then you are missing out. You will know if you have a GREAT theater setup with this movie. The visuals are stunning and truly push a tv to show if it is great or not. The sound effects thumping all over the room and parts of Tony's suit flying from one side to the other truly demostrates a surround system at its peak. Lots of bass in this movie and lots of action scenes. Watch it, enjoy it, and then upgrade your surround system.

This steelbook was received without any damage. I had not previously owned this movie and saw the steelbook was on sale. I ordered many of the marvel steelbook during the sale and 2 of them came damaged. I really enjoyed this movie and saw it in theaters despite others being upset with how the plot went. Watch the marvel one shot on the Thor: Dark World release.

Marvel's "Iron Man 3" pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

Another quality superhero movie, this time with actual drama!. After the events of The Avengers, Robert Downey Jr finds it difficult to come with the terms that he actually nearly died fighting actual aliens. However, not all hope is lost as help is on the way in the form of a small boy-child. With his adorable smile and Robert Downey's robot powers, RDJ can make America great again! 10/10 would avoid my family to watch again.

A strong ending to the Iron Man trilogy

Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is facing inner demons (PTSD from the first Avengers film) and ghosts from his past (the wily Mandarin) in Iron Man 3. If the other two Iron Man films were about building the perfect armor to become a hero, this third film is about Tony Stark being a better person--both with and without his armor.

On the Lower End of Marvel Movies

This movie is ok, but has some solid parts. It is on the lower end of the Marvel movie scale for me, but it is ok overall. The 4k helps a bit.

I really enjoyed watching this movie, in no small part due to the actors and their on screen chemistry. Loved Robert Downey Jr. and his interactions with the young boy who helped him repair his suit. Loved the action sequences. The villains were a bit odd but maybe that's just because I haven't really followed the rest of the Marvel Universe movies or the comics that originated some of these characters.

It wraps up the trilogy about Tony Stark quite neatly, but it ripped off a bit from Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy in the process: Stark's home is destroyed as was Wayne Manor is only the first comparison; Both Stark & Bruce Wayne end up at a point by the end of their respective trilogies where they both decide to give up their other identities for personal reasons. Then, there is the villain bait & switch. In Batman Begins, Ra's al Ghul is thought to be one person, but is in fact another. It is worse in Iron Man 3 where they took a classic comic book villain and made him a silly front man for the "real" villain, one of Stark's competitors. The portrayal of AIM in the movie pales to the promise of what it could have been had the writers paid attention to the comic book history of that particular group. Finally, we see every suit of Iron Man armor more-or-less acting as a self-directed robot, similar to those of the villain in Iron Man 2. It also got a bit boring to see Stark being enveloped by more than one suit of armor to protect him during that climactic battle whenever he would fall or trip or have the armor he was wearing get destroyed. This was an exercise in lazy writing, which even a big-budget comic book movie should do without.

A 4K upgrade for Marvel's most polarizing movie

I was able to get this during the buy 2 get 1 free sale while at the same time they were at a reduced price. The price for the 4k upgrade was too good to pass up. Whether or not it is worth the upgrade depends on your TV setup. The artwork on the steelbook is good and the issue of noting including the title on the side has been fixed. Now if they could just find a way to keep cardboard sleeve over the case to stay down.

Robert Downey Jr, Gweneth Paltrow, & Don Cheadle have done it again.. The first Iron Man movie was very cool and showed R. Downeys' acting ability and wit. This latest Iron Man movie just confirmed how good the cast and crew still are. I did get the impression at the end that this might be the last Iron Man movie (except for the Avengers next year). I would recommend this movie to anyone that is a Iron Man fan.

The 4K version of this movie surpassed my expectations!! I thought with a movie that was nearing 7 years old and never released in 4K that the picture wouldn't be that different, but you could see the individual hairs on Tony Stark's face in certain scenes. It was incredibly crisp and clear and I highly recommend it!!!!

When I first watched this movie, something didn’t feel right. I was building up too many questions that weren’t being answered well. Then, after a particular moment in the movie, everything clicked and fell right into place. Then I was able to enjoy the ride to the end.

I don't know about it being the best one yet, but I definitely enjoyed it. The effects were great, acting & plot were ok. Some of the action sequences were too unbelieveable. Yes I know it's a superhero movie, but the scenes with Rhodie's gymnastics were too much. He has no powers, he's a regular guy. All in all, it's a solid and entertaining movie. I plan to watch it several times, just like the first two.

I bought the movie on DVD, Blu-Ray, and now 4K in Steelbook. The Steelbook is very cool, and the film is fantastic on a 4K player and screen. I have never been disappointed in a Marvel movie and look forward to buying many more in the future. You cannot go wrong with any of the movies.

Originally saw this at the movie theater. Later saw Infinity Wars and Endgame. Amazing how much more sense the entire Marvel Universe makes when going back and seeing Iron Man 3, The Avengers movies, and again seeing Infinity Wars and Endgame. SteelBook case is really nice addition to my DVD Collection.

Ordered Iron Man 1-3. When I opened the box, the thinness of the cases and lack of anything but a cover felt to me like I had ordered pirated DVDs from some shady dealer. But these are from Best Buy! They must be authentic and play well. Not really. The quality of the picture is on the very low end and the movie stops multiple times during the playback. I will not be purchasing DVDs again from Best Buy.

This movie will not win any awards, but it will thrill and dazzle you as you follow Tony Stark on another save the world mission. This story out does the last two for the simple reason that it has more heart and story line then the last two. Robert Downey Jr has got the Stark character down pact, and if you love the super hero movie as much as I do, you need to pick this up.

I really just copied this from my Iron Man 1 & 2 reviews because it more or less is the same quality. This isnt gonna look as amazing as Endgame because it was shot on 35mm and has a grainy look with the video quality. The HDR is average and the atmos audio track is average. Overall it's a decent 4k disc and let's be real if you're an MCU fan you gotta have the best version of every film.

Although by the third movie this franchise seems a little watered down, it still delivers an entertaining journey following Tony Stark and company into another near death experience. Jon Favreau brought out the best of Iron Man in the first movie and adeptly continued that magic into Iron Man 2 - moving out of the Director's chair and into a Producer role for this outing is noticeable and helps this movie into third place among the three - still a very watchable and fun flick.
