It broke first day of cross-country road trip

Changing from a landscape to portrait orientation is not easily accomplished and the iPad with a Garmin case doesn't work at all with it.

Not for a iPad

The iPad is to heavy and weighs the arm down so you can't see the screen. It would probably be better if it didn't have an adjustable arm.

Not durable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this product for a year. It is built entirely out of plastic. Within a month, positions would not stay in place. We had to resort installing upside down so that it's most sagging position would keep the tablet facing straight. The headrest clamps start cracking open quite easily, especially if you have a toddler poking the screen with a little bit of force. We managed through everything until the rotating piece finally broke when it fell out when I hit a pot hole... It is a great design, but if they made the headrest clamps and the mechanism pieces that hold the adjustments in place out of better material, this item would be an A+. I challenge anyone who gave this 5 stars to re-rate it after they had it for a few months and I am positive that they will bring their ratings down.
