After 3 and a 1/2 hours, I asked him to leave. in 2 hours. I had it installed myself. They had no clue what they were doing. They wanted me to cut the ceiling joints and the stainless steel cover. Zero stars to their installers. Would recommend the product, but not installers.

Powerful, reasonably quiet with good lighting. Easy access for controls. Clean, simple design.

I couldn't give zero stars but i would. I bought a vent hood from Best Buy and had them install. During installation it kept shorting out the breaker, so the installation guys tried redoing their wiring several times (the installationguys were great). They finally found the factory wiring coming out of the motor was exposed and touching the metal housing. They put a piece of electrical tape temporarily but called it in and told them it needed to be replaced. They told me it was a fire risk and to insist it be replaced. They gave me the phone and the lady said they had no more of the same model to replace and would call me back to make an appointment for a technician to come out. I asked for her telephone number but she could only give me her email address. After not hearing from her for a week i emailed. Still no response. I called the customer service line. A new guy told me the only date they could send someone was December 2... no other dates in November, December or January. I told him i was out of town on December 2. He said to keep that appointment and he would talk to a supervisor and get back to me with a better date for a technician to come. Since then i have not heard anything and emailed 3 times to BOTH the people i spoke to and still no answer. In the emails i told them to cancel Dec 2 as i told them I'd be away. Now getting texts from Best Buy that they are coming tomorrow December 2. The text wants me to confirm but there is no option to cancel. I guess the guy will show up tomorrow to no one home, but that's on them. BTW i am a Best Buy Total Member.

The Zline over range hood has not worked since being installed. The vent motor ran backwords pushing air in instead of drawing it out. The lights do not work. I received a repair kit but I am not able to replace parts. Why should I have to repair a brand new item. The unit is going back.

Very Nice, low profile and quiet. My only issues was it was damaged during delivery, took months for BestBuy to replace and they did not have the people/technicians that could install, as promised.

It too long waiting all day for first appointment with no contact. When they did come they did a good job but charged extra for non standard installation but Best Buy reimbursed for the extra charge

The installers were here on time as scheduled and did a great job. They were very professional and polite. The Thermador Island Vent hood looks great and works as expected. I would definitely recommend this product.

Absolute worst installation team. I had to provide the ladder, stud finder, proper fasteners, and yes, even the labor to install the hood. They refused to put it at the correct height and now it is way too low and needs to be taken down and raised up 6". Don't EVEN consider having Best Buy install appliances. They sub it out to independent contractors that are completely clueless.

He did not have the required knowledge to perform an island instalation and best buy could not send the correct person. 3 Times i have scheduled and the same person would turn up giving the same reasoning..

They do not give you the correct information to have install, so after several times of appointment, I hope I have the right information to have the space ready and have it installed.

Best Buy keep sending very unprofessional people for the installation work, we had the same team 3 weeks back they were unprofessional, they even took my wife and my photo without any consent and uploaded them to bestbuy portal, compliant the same day the rude behavior and situation with the photo to bestbuy, they assured me a proper action will be taken against them, I also told them I do not feel secured sending such crew and asked them to send the different team, guess what, same two people showed up to the install, and as expected did a very crappy job, my hood tilted onside, hood cover is not secured in place. No one followed up with me on an promised action

Installation Crew went above and beyond. Loved the island hood.

Lux hood install, it wasn’t Best Buy who came it was a third party who had no idea what they were looking at , actually installed myself with a electrical buddy of mine
