This is a stop animation movie. I thought it was going to be boring but it was not. It also has 2 languages, Japanese and English. The boy speaks Japanese but the dogs speak English. The movie is about a boy's security dog who was banished to a island with other dogs by an evil uncle who was ruler of the country. The boy sets off in search of his dog in a daring adventure. In the meantime there are others who are trying to stop the ruler from destroying the dogs. I don't want to be a spoiler but you will enjoy the movie. It was sad and funny. It had a great ending.

This movie is unique. If you liked Fantastic Mr. Fox you will enjoy this movie. Very entertaining movie.

I think this is only for fans of the director. I could be wrong but I like all his movies.

I always enjoy Wes Anderson movies, but this one wasn't as memorable to me as most of the others.

Lots of fun, has a lot of puns too. If you are a dog person, you should watch this movie.

Bought as a Christmas gift, sure hope it's good! Grandkids should love it.

As a dangerous dog flu ravages the technologically-advanced metropolis of Megasaki, Japan, the corrupt mayor, Kobayashi, decrees that all dogs be banished to Trash Island, an offshore wasteland. To track down his beloved canine, Spots, Kobayashi's 12 year-old orphaned nephew, Atari, summons up the courage to go to the island on a rescue to find his best friend. While there, the boy is aided by a marauding pack of alpha dogs, who may know the whereabouts of Spots. This animated feature adventure has the dogs communicating with each other. Well done!

It’s good movie, yo have to be a Wes Anderson lover to like it !

I was honestly expecting more from this director since I love most of his other films and his other animated film that is like this one Fantastic Mr. Fox is a way better story with a better voice cast so if you haven't seen that movie I would strongly recommend Fantastic Mr. Fox over this movie.

I enjoyed "The Fantastic Mr Fox" and this was just as entertaining.
