A very versatile and affordable personal groomer for men. About one third of the cost of the Norelco 7100 but a whole lot better than half as good. Easy to use, safe, and gets the job done. This is not a wet/dry razor.

The original version of the iStubble, maybe 8-10 years ago, is by far the best beard trimmer I've ever used. It electronically adjusted the height setting with up and down buttons and had a digital readout. As it aged, the nickel-nickel-cadnium battery wore out and you had to hold your mouth just right to turn it off with the touch-button. This new model is mechanically adjusted and has a mechanical switch, and a lithium battery, so the shortcomings are corrected. However, the blades do not seem quite as precise. It does a good job overall but not quite as useful for fine detailing. They may just need to continue to break-in. If not, the blades snap out and are interchangeable with the old model so I can just switch them.

No cutting property compare to the normal Philips trimmer

This trimmer works really really really well. I actually haven't had any issues with blotchiness and the lines come out so smooth. The pivoting head makes it so easy to use, especially for someone with shaky hands like me. It also helps get to those hard to reach areas. It's amazing in the morning when I'm running late for work and need a really fast, quick trim. Would totally recommend this to everyone in the world. Props to PINCHme and ConAir for picking me to try it out!!
