I read the book back in 1986 and was excited about the movie produced in 1990. This remake is so much better than the original. It really captures the true essence of the book... scary! Very happy with my purchase. This version of IT is definitely for those not prone to nightmares.

I have never watched "IT" . The new movie or the old one. I bought this for those who loved "IT" and really liked the new one. They said this one was better than the original one. I don't watch horror and I believe that "IT" was deserving of a 5 due to the feedback of getting "IT".

I was going to wait until the second one came out, because I’m sure they’ll be a set, but I just couldn’t wait. They did a great job remaking this movie. There are some comedy aspects, so if you’re looking for a jump out of your chair, hide behind your friend horror movie, this isn’t it.

I know a lot of people have given this movie awful reviews & I personally cannot agree. My wife & I rented this before buying it & we both thought that 1. Pennywise is way creepier than the original 2. It tells more of the kids background & initial encounter with the evil child eating entity. With that being said I highly recommend this great 1st chapter remake. Can't wait to see what they do with the 2nd chapter to this, "Coming Soon"!!

Great movie and the actual disc arrived in great condition. Was very disappointed to see that the digital code had expired when I tried to use it. That was half the reason I bought it.

I was around when they played the original on network TV. There was a time when no one cared about scaring the crap of kids. I thought this captured as much of the original while filling in the blanks that the poor graphic ability of the 80's made them hide. Pennywise was amazing before so it was hard to live up to but I think they did a great job. Just remember this is part one... there is a part 2 coming out soon.

I’m a fan of it films. And I decided to pick this one up for my 21 birthday present, and I’m really satisfied of how incredible the 4K looks, and the artwork is. I would love to get one for it chapter two if there’s any steelbooks left

I’m a Tim Curry fan. So when I went to see this in theater I wasn’t expecting to enjoy seeing anyone else play pennywise. I was however very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed Bill Skarsgård’s performance. This movie delivers a eerie atmosphere where the Tim Curry version is more (at least to me) dark comedy-horror-ish. Both great in there own right. This is definitely worth buying. Tim Curry is still a better pennywise though.

I have a soft spot for both the novel and the original mini-series, but I did enjoy this one. I like the fact that they split it up, because it lets you appreciate the job these kids did on the first movie, as opposed to how flat their adult counterparts are in Chapter 2. Both are still library-worthy, but Part 1 I’d far superior. Recommended.

Yes, this is a remake. But this is more scary than the original. Does have good humor in it too. The actor who plays Penny Wise is superb! The only thing I didn't like was the scene of Georgie being killed in the beginning. Though the young actor who played him was excellent in that scene.

Sure this version doesn't have the phenomenal Tim Curry as Pennywise. However, Bill Skaarsgärd brings a whole different level of intense menace with his portrayal of Pennywise! The script, acting, visual presentation is, in my honest opinion, significantly BETTER than the campy original!!

I was skeptical at first because horror remakes are usually not as good. But "IT" did not disappoint. It had horror, comedy, drama, and all these elements blended together with a great cast to make an awesome movie. I saw it in theaters but had to buy it in 4k to add to my collection.

I really enjoy this movie! The story and characters live up to the original, if not top it. I was the first in the store on release day just to get the steelbook. I highly recommend the purchase, you will not be disappointed.

I am a huge fan of the original films and I do believe in my opinion that this reboot was long over due. I really like that this movie stuck with its original plot but left it open for interpretation. So ready for the second one to come out and I hope that they amp up the horror part.

The new IT movie is amazing . The plot and story are so much better than the movie from the 90's. If you enjoyed the version from the 90's you will love this. I consider this the ultimate version of IT.

Love it. Best horror movie remake in the last few years. And the steelbook is a big plus for any collector. The special features included in the movie were also very entertaining to watch . The cast was amazing and the writing.

I am very impressed with the remake. They performed real well! And the steelbook looks amazing good thing i got a copy. They were hard to find and customers were looking for one. But i saw one employee grabbed one and purchased it which i think was wrong. But over all great movie!

I always enjoyed watching the original It in a kind of jokey way. I wasn't prepared for how good this version was. I have seen it a number of times now and it has become one of my favorite horror movies. Everyone did a great job and I can't wait to see what they do with the sequel.

I am very picky about the horror movies I watch these days. It is hard for me to find one that I can really consider "Horror." Overused Jump scares do not make a horror movie. This movie did not rely on that as many now days do. It is a solid watch all the way through.

Good remake of Stephen King's original miniseries It. Only downside is that this is in 2 parts and would have hoped that they made one steelbook with both parts included. Nice looking steelbook with digital code included.
