Customers often highlight the iTrip Auto Lightning FM Transmitter's convenient charging capabilities and ease of use. However, many express concerns regarding sound quality and the effectiveness of the FM transmitter, citing issues with signal strength, static, and reception. Some users found the device simple to operate and appreciated its charging function. Despite these positive aspects, the audio performance proved to be a significant drawback for a substantial number of customers.

Sadly, my AUX cable port is broken and I have bought several different radio transmitters to be able to listen to my own music in my car and non have worked until I bought this one. It also charges your device which is a great plus on the road. To find a radio station that will work is quite easy...I highly recommend this to someone.

I purchased this Griffin product because I had owned their cases before and was pleased. I was dissapointed from the first time I connected this thing. The FM signal is so weak that there's excessive static during playing and never plays in stereo. I have tried it in several different vehicles and it's no better. Do not waste your money on this item. I'm hoping BB will give me a refund.

Ended up returning this item. It worked better than a less expensive transmitter, but still had a lot of static.

I wanted a producr to connect my iPhone to the car ound system and charge the phone. This product works well. The only complaint is that you can get interference and sound cut out if the cord is moved.

this item is great for long traveling and being able to listen to different music that you wouldn't be able to if you did not have an aux chord

It's a user friendly accessory, but it gets frustrating to hear the buzzing as frequently as it does. I've tried different stations to transmit the signal, but I kept getting the same frequent buzzing and interruption. It's average quality, but not worth the price I paid.

The last transmitter I had for my iPhone 4s worked great. I could use one station for at least a 50 mile radius.

runs into some interference (both static and competing signals) compared to the audio cable model, but for the most part the audio is clear. Added bonus of being able to charge while it's playing is good too.

I literally had to change stations every 10 minutes to make this thing work. I did like the fact that I was able to charge my phone but I really didn't need another charger I wanted a FM transmitter! I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Charges and sends the radio signal at the same time. You don't even need the app unless you want to control the frequencies from the phone. But it works on any of our phones, regardless of the app install. What a wonderful purchase!

I bought this to be compatible with my iPhone 5c. Because my vehicle at the time had no Bluetooth feature or USB port, I was a unfortunate soul who had to settle for a FM transmitter. Well, I've had many different ones in my time with iPhones, and this was the most disappointing. But honestly I'm not sure if it was the product itself or the fact that my stereo/radio/antenna was far less than up to par. I'll never know now because it wasn't long after the purchase that I had to get a new vehicle, which does fortunately have Bluetooth & USB plug-ins! :) I've still got to return this product as it serves me no purpose now and it would have been returned anyway. I still believe if you've got to do a transmitter, get a cassette one! Good experiences with those.
