i find that often enough i have to hold the cable connecting my ipod to the traNSMITTER while driving in order to get a decent reception. otherwise, the transmitter seems to pick up anything OTHER than my ipod.

it was ok! Breaks easily but overall it was okay...

I purchased this so I could transmit from my phone to my car stereo, because my previous one was toast. It worked for like ten minutes and it was super fuzzy. Then stopped. In the future I will go elsewhere.

This is the 3rd one we have purchased for my daughter's older model car. It solves the problem of not being able to connect her phone and listen to her music. The wires and connections eventually fail from intense use

With an older car with no aux, no working cd player, no tape deck, I am pretty limited as to how to listen to my music library. This device does the trick in many locations. Some locations prove to be problematic.

First trip I took with this device in my "new" car, which has an excellent radio/cd, I was looking forward to listening to a book on my mp3 player over my excellent stereo. As soon as this device would identify an "unused" FM frequency and I would start listening, it wasn't more than a couple of minutes before my excellent car radio would find a station that would start over-riding my story and I'd have to try to find another "unused" station. The longest I got with any one frequency was maybe 5 minutes. As you can imagine this got pretty old pretty quickly. The device did work as described, I just think my radio's receiver is too good. It may work for others, or maybe you, but not for me.

My car is old and does not have an AUX option so I decided to give this a try. it's decent... have to try and change stations in different areas due to static on the radio but thats expected.

This transmitter like most transmitters have a limited range. This isnt the manufactures fault, its actually limited by FCC rules and regs. But in the recent years these limitations have become so strict that these products are quite literally a waste of money. The only way to get them to function without noise or static is by physically modifying the circuit board, disabling the limiter and installing a antenna on the transmitter itself. That of course requires a knowledge of electronics. I figured the cost of this item would make a difference being that its 60 dollars...but nope. It does exactly what a 10 dollar one would do...it just looks prettier.

I had to have my phone in a certain spot in my car in order for the scratching sound to decently stop. I wouldn't pay 50 dollars for another one. Cheaper Best Buy adapters are better!

I like this product now, at first there was static interference, especially when passing under power lines but then I changed to a cleaner frequency and it has worked very well ever since then.

So I bought two of these one was amazing, but the other I had to swap out multiple times before getting one that was decent. If they were all like the first one I got, it would get 5 stars!

The movie Monuments Men was very good! The Griffin Technology - iTrip Auto Mobile FM Transmitter-Black/Silver does not work very well, not impressed at all. Would not recommend the unit.

it did not work at all. not a single station sounded clear. it was all static and it was the worst purchase I've ever made at best buy. returned it and thankfully got my money back

It starts off good at first but later gets faulty and stops working properly. Going through cities is a drag because you have to constantly switch stations. Overall, a good product

I bought this to replace and old Belkin transmitter but found the signal to be much weaker. There was static on every station that I tried. I promptly returned it.

Love this product with the exception of sometimes having a problem finding a station to use. Otherwise I think this is an excellent product and am very happy I purchased it!!

Bought this for my daughter's older car and now she can listen to her iPod or phone. Unit simple to install and works great!

This is just what we needed to listen to better tunes than the old radio in our old pickup. Easy to use and works great.

I use this tuner in my work truck cause all the truck has is a AM/FM radio, I travel a lot for work and it seems all the radio stations go on to commercials at the same time. So this is a great add on to listen to music. I also use it as a hands free device for my iPhone. I just plug it in and listen to music, when the phone rings I just hot the green button and talk. No need to hold it cause you can hear it through your speakers and they can hear you just fine when your phone is in the console

I can use this every car so far! I don't have to do much but plug in my phone soon as I get in and go! So far I love it!
