This was a classic christmas movie made better by having it in an updated format (blu ray disc). It's hard to believe that the movie is so old, because the picture is really nice. This is a movie that should be in everyone's movie library. This was a good purchase for our home/household.

This is the best Christmas movie of all time despite only the climax of the movie occurring on Christmas. The message this movie sends to its audience is something that this classic has stood the test of time and a message that’s truly inspiring for the holiday season. And all seasons.

A classic film that deserves every praise it's given. It looks stunning in 4K and is a must-buy for anyone wanting to watch the film in its best presentation.

This blu-ray edition has two discs for the B&W and color versions of the film. My only upset (and the reason for four stars) is that it did not come with the lobby cards. I realize that it was likely a timed exclusive for when this edition came out initially, but I do not recall Best Buy ever having it. At the time of purchase, I thought they may still be included inside the case. I am more than happy to shell out $12 for this wonderful and timeless movie. If you can find a way to purchase this with the lobby cards, however, I would have rather had it that way.

This Christmas classic has a big improvement in image over the previous Blu-ray release. Be warned, the Blu-ray copy included only features the colorized version of the film. Additionally, this release drops the bonus features included on the previous Blu-ray release and only includes the features exclusive to the UHD disc. These new features are really good though.

George Bailey learns for himself (and teaches us in the process) that “no man is a failure who has friends.” My favorite Christmas movie? Hands down. Look for the SNL skit lost ending on YouTube (spoiler alert- Mr. Potter gets his!)

This is one of my girls new favorite Christmas movies. Glad they released it like this. She had never seen it until i bought it for her for Christmas. Only thing better than the movie is the story as to how it got to be a Christmas staple in America.

It doesn't matter whether it's black and white (history lesson for anyone beyond Baby Boomers) or "colorized" version (offering additional perspective/appreciation for the masses)...the message is beautiful and remains "timeless".

One of the best Christmas movies in history. This "platinum edition" includes both the original black and white as well as the colored version of the film. As for special features, this release includes the original theatrical trailer as well as a documentary about the film.

I first saw IAWL in a film class sometime in the late '80's. I realized then why it is considered a "classic" film. I've only seen it maybe one time since then, and decided to finally pick it up. Well, it's still pretty amazing. Picture and sound is great, and quite a few nice extras.

Every film fanatic knows this film and if you love this movie you need it in 4K UHD. Even though it is an old film in black and white it looks amazing in UHD. The details are sharp and clear and I have never seen this film look this beautiful.

This is a classic show with great specs on the discs. The steelbook is amazing. Gloss finish, inside art, and a mini poster included. Also comes with black and white version and the colorized version on the included blu-ray.

It's a great Christmas classic remastered in 4K. I have the option to view the movie in black and white which is favorite. I can also view the movie with standard Blu-ray. This movie is a great movie the family can enjoy.

"It's a Wonderful Life" became popular during a time when its copyright had lapsed, and broadcasters could schedule it at no cost. It's now under tight control, and hard to find in streaming channels and broadcast TV. Well worth the price to have it in our own library!

Just awesome!! Includes the 4k upgrade of the B/W movie. Plus a colorized version on blu ray. Plus many extras. The steelbook is very well done using the art work from the original movie poster. Highly recommend!!

An American classic available in the best quality. Don't spend the 4 hours due to ads watching it Christmas Eve in broadcast when you can get Blu-Ray quality and shorter runtime.

For anyone who has even seen and enjoyed this movie, just get it. The transfer is decent and looks good on hi-def tvs and I like how it gives you the choice to watch it colorized or in the original black and white. I love Jimmy Stewart and this is one of his most iconic roles. Classic! Really no other way to put it.

Great. Great movie. Been watching this movie since i was a kid. Over 35 years. It looks amazing in 4k. Color version is not 4k, but it is beautiful on my 4k tv

Got this with 2 other movies to use as part of a sermon series for Advent. I never saw this movie before but now have added it as part of the "must see" for the holiday season. Quality was great, movie is a classic and both B&W and colorized versions are included in this copy. Merry Christmas!
