Looks great on 4K. There is grain present, but that is to be expected for an older film. The soundtrack is in Mono. Purists will appreciate this... This is a heart-warming and wholesome, classic piece of cinema.

I got this 4K as a Black Friday deal last year and it was my first time watching this masterpiece and is amazing. 100% recommended.

Has 2 DVD disks: 1 b&w and 1 color. No other format in this. Arrived in perfect package. Both disks have humidity or water damage inside the sealed item. Guessing temperature changes over a long length of time waiting to be bought. Both still work but not sure for how long.

My wife has been bugging me about watching this every year since we even started dating...I've put it off for so long and tried to avoid the topic because I had absolutely no interest in this movie, but this year I decided to get it for her as part of her birthday gift (it's in December)...we finally watched it and I wanted to act like I didn't like it, but it was actually great! Don't like admitting it, but I was wrong this whole time by avoiding it. Definately going to be one of those movies that we watch every Christmas season!

What can I say I grew up watching this movie around the holidays every year with my pops & mom, you gotta love the cinematography and acting in this movie and the story line is amazing. Everyone should see it’s a wonderful life.

This is an uplifting classic Christmas favorite of mine because it emphasizes the importance of family and friends rather than material things, and that kindness and compassion are never wasted whether you see the results of them or not. The world is a better place because of people who care about others.

This is one of the classic Frank Capra titles that needs a much better restoration from new 4k scans of the original surviving elements like Sony did with their Capra titles. It could also do with a lossless audio track on the Blu-ray, and hopefully, UHD Blu-ray if that comes out. Lossy audio in the 21st Century is really, really old fashioned. That said, this version is decent enough when on discount during the holidays. The colorized version, however, should be burned. What a disgrace to the lovely film noir like cinematography. Thankfully, you can also see it in the original black and white.

With this packaging ( Steel Book ). It is well worth it. There are many versions of this movie out there, but this Steel Book version is the one to have. Glad I found this one.

I love this movie and have been looking for it in blu ray for awhile. So happy I found this and extra bonuses, it's 4K and was on sale. Great quality. Best Buy was the only place that I found in 4K and on sale.

A great Christmas movie and such a classic! This is a movie I had been wanting for a while and I’m glad I bought it. It is one I would recommend and you won’t be disappointed!

This has always been one of our our families favorite Christmas movies of all time.Great cast and story line.We use to only get to watch it at Christmas time on TV ,then on VHS, then on DVD,and now on Blu-ray. Great picture and sound! Would make a perfect gift any time of the year.

A classic holiday favorite. It also includes a colorized version as well. I don't usually like colorized film but this one was done in a subdued fashion and is quite good.

I finally got around to purchasing this movie and new-rights owners Paramount has done a great job in cleaning up and restoring the print. It loves great and sounds fantastic; pretty good for a movie that’s almost 75 years old.

I will keep this simple, I love this movie, it's a great Christmas movie, but above that it's a great movie. And this case encapsulates that classic Hollywood/Rockwellian aesthetic.

This is my favorite film of all time. Being that it's an older film you won't get widescreen or anything. But it's blu ray so the duribibility of the disk itself is worth it. Haven't watched the colorized version yet, but the fact that it's an option was also a selling point.
