Tech at the store suggested trying this out and plugging it into the usb-c drive as a last resort before sending it back. This worked and seemed to charge the laptop at even a faster speed than the cord it came with.

We use this at a charging station at work. Just be cautious to check wattage capacity of computers you may be charging. We have 2 computers that will charge but the other 2 need greater than 100 watts.

Not disappointed with this charger
