We went to Best Buy and bought the j5create - 100W Super Charger as the replacement. It solved the issue and still works great.

I went to BEST BUY in the town where I was staying. This charger was the last one they had and I was unsure if it would charge my laptop. It worked perfectly! I love it and actually prefer to use it over the original one. It was slightly pricey but what was the alternative, not having a charger was not an option. It was worth it in the end!
