    I bought this cord and unfortunately had to return it as my laptop/monitor wasn't compatible. Not really sure why but for some reason it worked on my coworker's laptop and monitor but not mine. Bummed but what can you do.

      Bemeezie, I regret to hear about the incompatibility with your cable. This is due to the built in graphics card on your computer not supporting the conversion.     There is absolutely nothing wrong with the cable. My mistake was buying one that was not the correct length - this one barely reached the monitor. I recommend that you measure the likely length you will need and then add 2 or 3 feet to it. The fault is not with the cable but with me. This cable would have been perfect if the computer and the monitor had been a little closer.

  • Worst / poorly made cable I’ve ever bought

    ** TERRIBLE AND COULD TUIN YOUR PORT TO AN UNFIXABLE STATE ** I bought this cable for my new 1,200 Dell monitor. I had sick family, so I did not use it until 2 weeks after purchase. Plugged it in once and it never came out again. Until I finally pulled hard ( after squeezing of course ) took my whole brand new port with it. Good by 4K so sad .. as I worked hard to buy it. As you see - even after I could not pull it out with my hand or plyers! Best Buy HAS THE WORST RETURN POLICY! Some items two weeks. < some > Faulty cable that doesn’t work and a broken port for 4K and I can do nothing because it’s 14 days and done. Truly I’m so sad .. maybe the BBB could help me. Any ideas?

    My brother wanted one of these to connect his pc to his TV, but did not have hdmi to hdmi available. Thus I bought him this, and it worked well!

    This cable worked as described without the need for any extra drivers, but I am only able to get 4k 30hz out of it despite being connected to hdmi2.1. It is acceptable but there are better products.

    The only adapter cable I trust for this job. I have three in use on one system, and I’ve had lots of video issues, but it’s never been because of this cable.
