I recently had a desktop computer issue and had to send it in for repair. I bought this to allow me to use my laptop with a larger monitor, external keyboard and mouse.

The Dell dock like my company uses is three times the price. Big problem for me is this dock will not keep your monitor setting when the computer is locked or goes to sleep, which is why I returned it. While I don't have many ports on my company laptop, it does have an HDMI port and a USB port, so this travel dock brought nothing extra to the table. If you have a device with no ports, tablet or something, I can see where it might be helpful, but it's not needed if you have an HDMI and USB.

Posted .In Display Settings panel, you would be able to make setting changes to each display and after making any setting changes to the Display Settings, the settings will be automatically applied, however you will need to select "Keep Changes" for settings to be maintained.

This device was the bridge needed to connect to our internal servers that I couldn't reach on wifi. It was affordable and provided extra USB ports. I bought 3 more for others in my department!
