The first one that broke was admittedly my fault, I was moving my monitors around on their new mounted bases for the first time & there was a little too much pressure on the port. Still, that thing ripped so fast I couldn't believe how little pressure it took. The second one just stopped working after about 6 months. Definitely no reason for that. I was super careful not to put any pressure on that cable, given how the first one had given up so quick, and after about 6 months my computer stopped being able to detect the monitor one day all of a sudden. I thought for sure it couldn't be the cable - this is a top of the line cable, right?? - so I tried literally everything else including a system restore before I tried replacing the cable and the janky old replacement cable did the trick. Do not buy these.

Testes on Overwatch 2 and there was about a second of input lag. Recommend for a TV or second monitor which is not used for gaming.

Inexperienced people will frequently drop a lot of money on high end electronics, but will not consider the cables and connectors. They forget that their setup is only as good as their weakest component. Thanks for choosing a j5create product.
