Lossening & tightening certain joints was so difficult I needed to use a power tool. (Not provided.) Parts BROKE while I was setting it up. The back covers for the wires are also terrible. They're tough to get off and are positioned in such a terrible way for your wires. If I didnt take the cover off, it would've eventually damaged one of them. The movement on these is absolutely AWFUL. Its stiff as an old man. So many better options out there. Do NOT pick this piece of crap.

I don’t have any direct fears that it’ll be an issue, but that doesn’t mean I won’t keep an eye out for something a little higher quality

Plastic sleeves that hide cables broke immediately during first use. Manufacture would not send replacement parts. They required that I return the item and buy again. Don’t buy if you think you’ll need support from the manufacturer.

Also if you don’t have a gaming desk or a desk without an edge you can’t attach it. It’s on my list of return items only because I use an actual desk that has a ledge that’s not wide enough to attach the arm. My experience sucked.

Posted .The Ergonomic Monitor Mount uses a C-clamp or grommet mount to attach securely to a desk. If your desk has a lip, ledge, or not enough flat space, the clamp won’t be able to secure properly. Some users can use the grommet mount (through a hole in the desk), but that requires a compatible desk or drilling.

It went together very easily, but I noticed right away that the piece that holds the monitor was crooked. When I attached my monitor, there was no way to straighten it out. I took apart the pre-assemble pieces to see if it was adjustable and it wasn't. Further, despite being within the size and weight guidelines, my monitor immediately sank until one corner rested on my desktop. All the way around, a disappointing product that utterly fails to live up to its very straightforward job.
