I thought I would have to buy a new printer because we purchased a new computer. My printer was only about 6 months old. However the clerk told me to try this adaptor and see if it would work. It worked great and saved me from buying a new printer.

I purchased this item to go from HDMI out on a Yamaha receiver to VGA input on an Epson projector. It saved me from having to cut holes in the drywall and run new cables since the VGA cable was already in place and fastened to the floor joists.

Works great! I like the audio out feature since vga carries no sound. Keep in mind that it might not work on newer bluray players due to copyright protection on those newer units. I connected mine to an older bluray player and it works great on my projector.

I read several reviews and watched a test video for going from my iPad to a television through a adapter. This rated best and I am not disappointed. It was available at a good price at Best Buy so there was no question as to where I would buy it.

When I needed to hook up a small computer with HDMI output to a screen with a VGA plug, this device did the trick, no set up or complex instructions to follow. I just wish it cost less, but then, you could say that about lots of the geeky gear we all use.

On my dell I did not have the hook up for using most overhead projectors had been looking for a way to connect from my dell to overhead. This made it work great only plug into my dell and connect to the overhead projector. Ready to start showing DVD.

I needed to connect my Dell Venue Pro tablet to a monitor in a pinch, thankfully Best Buy had this item and a couple of other do-dad connectors in stock so I could jerry rig something. A little expensive, but it worked well for what I needed it to.

Wanted to connect a new laptop with HDMI output to the projectors at work which only have the VGA cable (they are on the ceiling and all you get is the a wire coming out of the conference room tables so can't really reach the projectors), honestly guy at the store was not sure it would work, but I tried and worked perfectly - NOTE: Only using it for displaying Excel and PowerPoint stuff, no sound, etc. so for work is perfect, not sure if other applications or systems would work the same. Item was on sale so I paid probably 60% of the price so I wish I would have bought two. I carry this on my laptop case everywhere I go so when visiting Customers or Suppliers I can now connect my new laptop to their projectors. I recommend put it in a ziploc or similar enclosure to protect it and make sure you label it in case you forget it somewhere!

My new laptop needs to be hooked up at our monthly meeting. The Hdmi-to-VGA Adapter makes it possible. The room has a VGA pigtail this connection plugs into the rooms system but this has the audio plug in making the audio playback possible to use the rooms speakers. The connection for my laptop is Hdmi so this allows my new laptop to talk to the system in the room we meet. Happy that not only will the guests see the presentation but because the audio out or in works too. (Out from the computer into the rooms sound system).

At our recent conference, we were able to accommodate several presenters who wanted to use their own computer with this product. We were able to utilize the TV's HDMI connection port, and It seemed to work well when we hooked them up.

I bought a new laptop and couldn't connect it to my monitor because the new laptop didn't have the same inputs / outputs. This solved my problem without having to buy a new monitor. I'm so happy! Good price and just plugs in.

Purchased this with my HP Envy as I had an existing 22" monitor that I wanted to be able to use in my home office. Connected right up to my laptop and works very well. Good recommendation by the Best Buy sales person!

bought this as a backup to HDMI-cabled conference rooms for older laptops with VGA ports. Had to use it on a few presentations to support visitors without outdated laptops. Worked like a charm! Glad I got these.

Recently bought a new desktop which only had hdmi in for video. Bought this and presto, my old monitor(non hd) works beautifully with it. I even hooked a ps4 up with it. And also works like a charm. Great product.

Works just like it should! No issues! My only concern is the mini USB portion of this sometimes breaks. I had to purchase a second one but it lasted me a couple years. Well worth it to me

I bought this to connect my Windows laptop to an older monitor. I had to tweak some computer settings in order for monitor to stay on as it was giving me an error regarding resolution size and kept going into power save mode. Works OK now. I know that my issue is not related to adapter but to my monitor. The screws on my VGA cable were not long enough to connect with the holes on the adapter part. I used tape to hold the two together (as it doesn't make sense to go buy another cable). I like the fact that this adapter has the holes for the screws as some do not. I would recommend this product to people interested in purchasing it.

Having a multiscreen office, it was imperative that I found an adapter to allow my HDMI screen to hook in with my laptop, which doesn't have the VGA connection port. This has worked great, no complaints!

needed this for a fundraiser event - my laptop only had hdmi output but the projector had a vga wire - fixed the issue right away since the local est buy had this in stock!

But I definitely trust Best Buy... they've got my best interests at heart and again with this purchase no problems whatsoever ..... I love this adapter it worked beautifully since day one....

I bought this to connect an older VGA monitor to my new laptop. All I had to do was connect the cables and I have an extended desktop. I've had no problems at all.
