This was surprisingly easy to use and setup, and it does a great job at staying in place. The hub isn't much tor right home on though, and because it doesn't have a power adapter the usb may have issues for some devices.

Well built stand, allows multiple angles and supports even larger laptops well (documentation claims supports 16 inch laptops and I have tested with ASUS 16 inch gaming) There is a front lip which prevents laptop from sliding forward at more steep angles. Rubber non slip cushion on the laptop or table shelf with similar padding on bottom. Two holes vent the laptop bottom, these could be larger but the aluminum alloy likely good at helping conducting heat away from a hot running laptop. A high quality usb cable in included which supports power and display up to 4k. The included usb hub is unpowered but one of the two usb c ports is labeled power input. The hub rests along the posterior portion of the base which gives you a nice space for storage or at least a pen or DVD burner. If you are using the usb port for power input and the other to go to a laptop you will have no usb ports available. I think all of these units should now include at least 2 usb ports plus a power in usb c port as many now have a usb c peripheral and many laptops only have one usb port. So if powering via the hub you will not add a usb c with this hub (as the only port goes to the laptop).

Works well. Height and tilt adjustment is tight and secure while still being straight forward. The dock works to connect m2 MacBook pro to 4k monitor for documents and spreadsheets. No graphic intensive stuff but so far so good.

TL;DR: This is a compact laptop stand best suited for 13/14" laptops or less. Hinges are very stiff so don't plan to use this as a portable stand. Dock works well, but limited port selection. I've been using this stand for a couple of weeks, and it works well for a semi-permanent installation. The build quality of the stand is great, and it's constructed of solid aluminum with rubber-like grip pads on the bottom of the stand and the part the laptop rests on. The folded size and weight of the stand are okay for traveling, but I would not consider this for a daily carry item. The size is just right for a 13 or 14" size laptop, but it's a little too small for my 15.6" ThinkPad laptop. The stand can elevate your laptop up about 4", but any higher (especially with a larger laptop) and you risk your machine or the stand toppling over. The included USB-C hub works well and the power passthrough keeps my laptop fully charged up (AC Adapter not included), however your laptop must have USB-C PD support for the power passthrough to work properly. Also, this model only one HDMI output, and your laptop must support USB-C DP-Alt mode for the HDMI to function properly. The stand includes a short 1-foot USB-C to USB-C cable to connect your laptop to the dock. My biggest issues with the design and functionality of this stand is it has one HDMI port, and if you are using your laptop's display the stand's very stiff hinges make adjusting the height of stand difficult, especially if you have a large laptop.

For the price, this beauty does it all for my M1 MacBook Air, as well as my M1 iPad Pro. 100 watt pass through charging is really freaking nice and ive currently got it hooked up to a 45 watt Anker brick, until the price comes down on the 105 watt USB-C power supply through JCreate.

This has been a great purchase. You are able to move the laptop in many different directions. It has definitely helped with my sore neck.
