Good add on for the laptop

Piece of crap

It would mess up my ports from time to time when I used it and I would have to reset them afterwards. The last time I used it it stopped charging through the dock. My computer went down to 0%, and then I wasn't able to reset the ports. Lesson learned: Don't trust non-Apple accessories.

Great adapator
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It’s great but very sensitive I constantly have to push it in if my Mac book isn’t in on a flat surface. I try to keep it on a flat surface bc you could bend the prongs for the port if that makes sense.

It works fine, but has a hard time staying in the ports. In hindsight, I probably would have just bought an individual adapter.

Apple is ahead of the curve when it comes to adopting the newer USB type C standard. However, manufacturers of USB peripherals are still making a lot of USB type A devices. Also, consumers still have a lot of USB type A devices that they like using. This makes a docking station like this one a great addition so you can keep using your older peripherals.
