      Easy to use and compact represents the mini dock; with it's SD card reading, HDMI, pass through charging and more capabilities, it makes this product a very intelligent choice, especially since it requires no driver installation. Thanks for the feedback on the JCD382.

    The connection is solid, the quality materials match the aluminum case of the MacBook pro and it worked out of the box without any software download or delay. the extra power port is a nice addition as well. The price point was on the higher end of the peripheral scale but it works as directed so I rated it only average value.

    This product is really good. There are certain issues where the hub gets really hot. Color doesn’t the Mac exactl, but it’s ok for the price and usability.

      Ttruax, when it comes to the JCD382 becoming warm during use, this would be due to electricity running through the dock, this resulting in the warmness. In the case where the JCD382 is becoming hot to the point where it is harming you or smoking, please don't hesitate to reach out to support and an agent will gladly exchange it under the manufacturer's two year warranty.
