Not what it should be.

It stopped keeping the items connected. I contacted support for the warranty and was treated very poorly by their customer service agent, Kyle. I had to explain the issue repeatedly and he struggled to understand. Finally he rudely told me to produce a receipt or a "bank statement" and they could facilitate an exchange if the original store would not. Of importance however, he stated this item is not supposed to be used to connect external hard drives, and primarily for mouse and keyboard type items. The entire reason I purchased was to connect a USB external drive and I was assured that was a fine use for it. So I feel like it was a completely wasted purchase and a disappointment.

Due to the design of the mini dock, a snug connection is required and in such cases, we recommend taking a look at the JCD383 for instance which connects via a cable and that will work for you.
