The JCD382 will give you access to USB-A and USB-C ports for connecting peripherals. The dock also had SD Card slots and an HDMI port for an additional monitor. Glad to hear that you like the dock.

Not Good - BB Return Policy Not Good Either

The device did not stay connected very well. I thought it might be user error, so I kept at it and "made it work", but wasn't really happy about it. Then I needed to us an SD Card to upload pics from a photoshoot. The slot for the SD card was very insecure. Card moves around in the slot. So now there are two possible bad connections and I was pretty sure it was not user error. But by the time I realized it was just a bad device, past the return period. So I am stuck with this poor product. Maybe the manufacturer can help. My advice. Once you get it, test it immediately for everything you need it for. If it drops connection when you barely touch it, take it back right away.

Can't use all the ports at once

I did encounter a problem when I purchased a shell to protect my MacPro in that now the shell impedes the drive dock from staying plugged in completely. I was told there are other docks with longer prongs but that would mean I would have to spend more money and then what happens to the one I bought?
