Posted .Hello, in the case where the mini dock is unable to stay plugged in, this could be due to a cover on the Mac impeding a snug connection, or loose USB-C connectors. If it turns out the connectors are loose, please don't hesitate to reach out to support and an agent will gladly offer an exchange under the manufacture's two year warranty.

sorry I bought this laptop dock

First, I had a very difficult time installing it. I had to call the company and get their advice because it wasn't lighting up and showing that it was attached. Finally, I had to give it a very HARD shove to get it seated. It shouldn't be that difficult! About a week later, I got a clip-on case for the lid and bottom of my new laptop. Now I can't use this dock at all it because the prongs interfere with the bottom case. So it was a complete waste of money. I'll give it to someone else that needs one. I bought a dongle designed dock at a different retailer.

I know that there are cases that work with our adapter from speaking with other customers, but I understand how frustrating that can be when you already have a case you enjoy.
