Sometimes it doesn’t read the card but overall I have hadn’t too many issues with it. Good for the price.

None of those problems with the two attachment points. Does the job.

Easy connection

Sure makes using the computer at my desk easier and unplugs easily when I need to go mobile. Even can hook up the HDMI cable to the 65” tv for that really big work/fun.

Not a good option

However, I had problems with getting the two USB-c ports to make a good contact to the computer. With just a little movement, the USB ports intermittently made and broke contact. I had my external hard drive plugged in at the time and the intermittent loss of connection resulted in my hard drive being ejected improperly and I lost all my data on my external drive. Instead of using this device, I returned it and selected ones that have a cable plugged into one USB-C port on the MacBook. There are models that come in various configurations ranging from one USB 3.0 to USB-c and multi-port models.

IT only work on 2016 MODELS

Bad choice for powered devices

Apple has made it known that their superdrive is only operational on their hardware, so I do apologize for that inconvenience. To get your hard drive to work, you would need its external power source in order to be operational. I know how frustrating that can be though, so I am sorry for it.

Mac necessary for any ports

Great for extra plug ins
