Posted .Correctly plugging in the JCD382 is a bit of a concern as it requires a full, snug connection to the Mac and can be concerning, no doubt there; nothing to be concerned about as it will work properly and meet your expectations; we always value customers' input as we strive for perfection.

It does not act as a power supply and therefore does not work for things like external dvd drives.

Disappointing

In this situation, we recommend taking a look at the JCD383, JCD384, JCD381 as they provide the user with a host cable, this way you would not need to remove the hard case on the your MacBook. you. Dock fits great on the new MacBook Pro
