This is a great little dock that is specifically designed to use with newer Macs. Newer laptops have fewer and fewer ports thus making hubs and docking stations a requirement. Thank you for sharing your experience.

A Good USB-C Hub for the New MacBook Pros

With no, SD Card or USB 3-type ports, this keeps you from needing 3 or 4 separate dongles. This even saved me because I do have a USB-C to Thunderbolt dongle that I tried to hook up to a HDMI to Mini-DisplayPort adapter. It would not work. So, it's good that this has an HDMI port as well. At this price, this is definitely worth purchasing.

Very useful and sleek

This is a great accessory!

Works fine, no surprises. Like the relatively small form factor, and the fact that is not a hanging dongle with cord to break. I thought it was the best value with max capability of options available at BestBuy. Kind of expensive for something that is hardly ever used but when you need it, you really need it.

It's fairly sturdy though be careful not applying pressure or accidentally hitting it as the two USB-C connectors could snap off. But works perfectly as it should.

This attachment converts the USB C inputs into traditional USB ports, leaving the USB C ports and adding an SD card slot and an HDMI output. This is a great device to have in transition.

Drive Dock for MacBook Air Retina

I don't like having the dangle things so this is a good product for multiple uses. sadly I had to return because it would not fit when I put a case on the MacBook. Had to go to a single Dangle. But if you don't need a case, this is very useful.
