It's got everything you need. multiple ports. My only complaint is how big the power supply is. Anything that needs external power from the hub, like a USB hard drive, needs to have this bulky power adapter plugged in. for everything else like plugging in mice, flash storage...you should be okay.

This came with an electric transformer and the box said plugging it in was optional. When the USB is plugged in this warning "Must plug in" comes up. It basically won't work without plugging in to electricity. Yet one more plug to have to plug in. With the few USB ports it provides, I think there are better options.

My Surface Pro 4 only has one USB, and so I needed to enlist the help of an external dock. It works fine. Specific combinations of outlets don't seem to draw enough power for specific devices, but at least on their own they are able to function with this external USB hub.

Needed some more USB ports for my new laptop and this was inexpensive. I like that this does not require the power cord for use but if needed for some USB devices (Ex: hard drives) the power cord is provided.

I was looking for a usb hub to add to my mac mini because i was tired of reahing to the back of my mac and playing a guessing game to fit the usb in the right port. Sure enough I came around this little thing that was priced right and worked flawlessly.

Bought this because my computer had mostly rear ports haven’t had any issues with it except it’s really light so if you accidentally pull the cord it ends up behind your desk I put some double stick tape on it and mounted it to my desk

This would have been better if it included an Ethernet port.

I love what it offers but there is a compatibility issue with my PC. Before I reboot my PC, I have to disconnect this unit or it causes my PC to hang during its reboot. I'm using a ASUS

I use this daily. The only problem is that one of the ports frequently doesn't work as well, and I get messages that the flash drive in that port has been removed when it has not. I suspect it is just this one, and not all of them.

It does the work, I recommend this for light usage like thumb drives of using a reader for like microsd cards etc, for hard drives I rather go with a product that comes with power supply to avoid any issues during data transfers.

Not what I was looking for - sturdy build sleek looking

This is my second one. I use these with single-board computers and microcontrollers, for which I need a powered hub, and back voltage would be a problem. This powered hub works reliably and doesn't mess with the signals on my devices.

Definitely a good product works great and the people there even showed me and educated me on every question that I had for them thanks again

Great device...don't need the power cord unless you want to charge a phone or something else with it. But gave me more options so I can hookup a wireless mouse, wireless softphone and still use the other ports for whatever I might need.

simple basic does the job- not too power savy though so watch out when pluging in a lot of stuff- cause it will drop out some ports at that point. be warned people!!!

This works perfectly. Just plugged it into my iMac and I was able to run additional USB peripherals. I have not tested the transfer speeds since I don't plug in my external drives, but it works for my wired mouse and Wacom tablet perfectly!

My new laptop doesn't have enough ports. Like most folks I'm working from home right now and need to plug in my monitor, mouse and keyboard. This was a perfect solution.

Got it to connect an audio interface to my iPad which requires a powered hub due to voltage restrictions by Apple. Worked like a charm.
