Its an okay product has 7 port hub, it does not feel like its durable but over all its okey.

My ports were not functional and I didn't realize it until after the return period. Silly me for waiting until I needed it to try it. Lesson learned. I still love BestBuy, though.

I wouldn't waste your time. It quit working after a few weeks.

This hub damaged my external hard drive 5tb..low amperage

I typically work on a laptop with 2 usb ports. I keep my mouse receiver plugged in at all times (it is so small, I don't want to lose it.) This leaves me with only one available port to use on my computer. This 7 port usb hub can handle any usb device in any of the ports. I actually returned one that I previously had because there was one port specifically designed for an external hard drive and the rest were for other things. It had a plug that was recommended to be plugged in when using. It was confusing and difficult to use. With this one. It is so easy. I don't have to worry about which port my external hard drive has to go in and I don't have to worry about having to plug anything up. It's small size allows it to be portable, yet it is still powerful. It is a lifesaver for me. I can charge my phone, when my battery is low as well as work on several other things without having to be forced to remove a device that I may or may not need at the moment. It is just so convenient.

Bought this to mount on my simrig and it has worked great. It's compact and out of the way but lets me hook all my gear to it and run one cord to the pc from there. I've had no connection or drop issues. Highly recommend

I recently upgraded my system hardware and needed an expanded USB hub. This one is nice, as it can accept up to 7 3.0 USBs. I have an older 5-port DYNEX USB hub and was surprised that I was able to plug the DYNEX into this one giving my 11 ports (12 less one for the DYNEX). So far it's working great.

The unit is compact and very functional. Works well and is well made.

The prongs on the power adapter are missing and I can't plug the hub into a power outlet!!

I own 4 of these units for different computers in my home. Two setup on my Sim Racing computer for different peripherals, one for my editing computer and one for travel. They are super units that I've never had an issue with any of them. They will not do you wrong.

This USB expansion dock has sure made things easier. My iMac does not have enough ports to run all of the peripherals I use so I was constantly swapping them out. With the J5Create USB hub, I have all the ports I need to download my camera, backup my hard drive, print, connect to the laptop and accommodate multiple flash drives. Plug and play right out of the box and The unit comes with power cord in case you need additional power for one of the drives but it also works well without it. Fast and easy. All this and it was on sale!

This thing is a workhorse, haven't had any issues with it thus far and am using it for 4 monitors in combination with the j5create usb to hdmi as well as a bluetooth mouse and and bluetooth keyboard.

Coming from a flimsy 5-usb hub with a dangly, non-disconnectable usb cable, this was a major improvement. The main features that led me to this product were the sheer number of ports available. They are distanced apart enough that even two of the wider USB thumb drives can fit side-by-side. Since it connects with USB 3.0, I'm able to use that capability on my newer hard drives. Otherwise it performs just as it normally would for cheaper and older drives. May run into issues with too many wireless receivers plugged into it at once. Trying to use a wireless mouse, headset, and controller at the same time created minor input lag issues. The hub is powered, which can be great for using the usb to charge phones, headsets, and any other usb-chargeable devices even when the computer is off. It would be best to disconnect hard drives that would be receiving power while the computer is off so they aren't running constantly when you don't need them. Very happy with its functionality - no complaints so far.

I have 2 of these currently in use across 2 PCs. They're nice to have on the desk to keep from having to reach behind the PC and plug things in.

I Love this !! I use it at work. I now have easy access to plug my things in without having to get behind the computer. The cord is the perfect length for me! I bought it to plug in my speakers, now I have a fan, oil aroma fan, wireless keyboard & mouse. still more room for other items !!

Exactly what I was looking for! Staight forward plug and play. I used the included power supply and nice usd cable. Which I believe is optional, for traveling, or just having a couple of peripherals connected, is nice. I use it with power. My old usb powered multi adapter, did not allow my usb powered hdd hard drive to be recognized, unless it was using the port closest to a device. With this adapter my hard drive is recognized in every port. It is nice not having to plug everything into the back of the machine.

I bought this because it has more than the usual 4 USB ports, which I needed, and didn't depend on an adapter for an outlet, and was reasonably priced. But it doesn't look like this photo, instead it's long and thin and doesn't take up a lot of space.
