I used it just fine on Wi-Fi until my router had an issue. I said, "No problem" and went to plug the Cat 5 cable right into the computer. What, no Ethernet jack? You must be kidding me! Off to Best Buy for an Ethernet to USB adapter. The cable worked as expected/stated. It came with a disk but did not require installation on Windows 10. There is nothing negative, or particularly positive, about this product. It works fine. Nothing more to say.
