I purchsed this on Oct 30 and attached it to my Sony. At first, it worked very good, giving me 350 mbs with my 500 mbs internet AT&T router. On Nov 5, it stopped working and my Sony said "no internet connection". I unplugged the ethernet cable directly into the LAN port and it worked, showing me 97 mbs upload and download. I attached the cable back into all three of my usb ports in the back of my Sony and all three ports indicated that I had no internet connection. Beats me...I am returning this...

Posted .The USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter is intended to connect to a computer (Windows or Mac) via USB Type-A port and the other end to a modem or router using a Ethernet cable. The Adapter also requires an installation of a driver for proper functionality. Will not work correctly if this device is being used to connect to a TV using its USB ports and TV's do not have the ability to download a driver. Sincerely, j5create team.

After I finally got it to work, I unplugged it and wanted to use it on a different port and it needed to be re-installed. Decided to take it back. Quality is really good on the outside but not worth the hassle of constantly installing it.

Cable length too long
