I've not done any performance testing of it, so I can't speak to packet forwarding performance, but it's been reliable.

However I wouldn’t recommend it for a MacBook. First, you have to download a software to use the Ethernet adapter (first disappointment). Second, they provide a cd to download it or you have to go to their website (instructions provided) but the instructions are completely old and hard to follow when you download it off the website. After 6 attempts on removing and reinstalling, I have up.

Does not work with Android

I was able to successfully use another USB 2.0 Ethernet to USB Adapter, so it maybe that Android just doesn't support USB 3.0, not sure.

It worked, at times

It worked, in spurts. Every few minutes, it would lose connection and I would have to reset the adapter and refresh the ip. Eventually, I broke down and bought a network card online and now use that without any difficulty. If you just need sporadic connectivity, this will work. Otherwise, I'd find something else to use.

Adds Some Speed
