Posted .Proper functionality entails downloading and installing a driver on a Windows or Mac platform. Depending on the OS you have, different instructions apply. Make sure computer is up to date such as software, drivers, BIOS, etc by visit your manufactures website in their Support section. Being behind on updates could cause the j5 device to not function as intended.

Not sure what happened but it won’t work at all unless I give it a couple taps , but then it stops shortly after. I’ve tried new cables and it seems the cables are all fine.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It did it's job for a while honestly about 4 weeks and then it gave out I'm not happy it slowed my entire work down and I feel as if I'm going to be forced to get a new type of connection that can finally maintain the "big strenuous load" of a 2015 Macbook air running on a entire wifi network ALONE mind you .I have had 3 of them and it will even fail on a 2021Apple products not to mention the exceptionally faster failures on PC respectfully.yeah not cool but get a new one and it works fine smh all cool until boom

There's no speed boost for using USB 3.0. Comes with CD to install drivers, but optical drives are obsolete nowadays.
