It worked flawless, even managed to get the correct drivers loaded afterwards making this item no longer needed lol. Keeping anyways just in case, no regrets.

Remember to plug into a usb 3.0 or above port for the fastest speeds. Just switch around the ports until you find it and test with a speed test site.
