This is the device I used as a replacement and it works as advertised. It was easy to setup, just plug it in.

Good quality this adapter is made of aluminum and is very sturdy. My other prior adapters only lasted a year. Just plugged the Ethernet capable device in and literally setup within five seconds. As usual J5 Create did a great job with this adapter.

We can still change the static IP of the port just like the one built into the laptop. Was a fantastic, cheap, and easy fix.
