Brought it and used on my Mac book as a back up connection in case I can't get wifi in my dorm room. It worked great and didn't have any issues with it. I'm not tech savvy, but I believe I could also use it for my Dell computer too and not just my Mac.

There were not a lot of choices when I needed this adapter. I use a Microsoft Windows 10 computer and it has a limitation on the number of USB ports (1). I needed to direct an Ethernet stream into the computer in order to gain additional speed over Wi-Fi. This gadget did the trick, increasing megabits delivered from 12 to over 30, almost eliminating buffering.

I didn't have a connection on my laptop. This was quick and easy to install. Work like a charm.

Great universal product for when laptops no longer have a landline port

Newer laptops don't have an Ethernet port any longer. So I had to run to Best Buy to get this product. It is simple. You plug the product to your laptop's USB port. Then you connect the Ethernet cable to the product. That's all. It has been working reliably.

I had an older LAN connection that wouldnt give me the max potential of my Giganet. I bought this and immediately received the max potential. This was a fantastic buy and would recommend for anyone who isnt getting 500 mbps due to old technology.

Essentially plug it in and it works. I downloaded the utility driver before picking up the package, so it may not have been necessary. I used it for an interview during Coronavirus and got the job.

There are times when you need a secure cable connection. Sadly, the new laptops do not come with an ethernet port, so you need one of these. This gadget works perfectly. It's a great price, and requires no additional setup, just plug it in and go.

I needed an adapter to get around the issue of Ethernet port not working correctly. Using this allowed me to bypass the issue with great speed.

Tested this on my laptop and it works beautifully! It doesn't have a GbE port so I had to get an adaptor that rides a USB 3.0 port and the adapter delivers the full GbE speeds. Latency wise it is symmetrical with a standard I/O PCIe card and an integrated GbE input.

It works like a charm when connecting ethernet to my laptop. I have no problems with it coming out of my monitor at all. I would purchase all over again if I had too.

It is a very good product, easy to use for the first time, in my computer I did not need anything other than to connect it, this Ethernet adapter is just what I needed, very satisfied !!

I have been using it for a couple weeks to download games on my Nintendo Switch. Averaging speeds - Download 54mbs upload 25mbs - (connected directly to Router - also make sure your using the usb 3.0 port in the back of the switch in between the power cable and HDMI cable) I have found varying speed results depending on how your home internet is set up. If you have optimum altice that has separate wifi for all the individual smaller boxes in each room and you connect it to the back of the smaller boxes it may have speeds lower then if you were just using wifi by itself. Connect this adapter up to the main line/router to see better speeds. Again hooking up to a smaller box in another room produced worse then wifi speeds for downloads. I had to connect it directly to see a huge improvement.
