Nice device but the meaning of the two LED colors is elusive. The enclosed manual and on line site doesn’t explain why one LED is Green and the other is Orange.

Posted .Understanding what the lights on the Ethernet adapter mean is important...depending on what is happening with the connection, it will blink accordingly. If you are successfully connected to the internet, it will flash differently than it would if you were not connected to the internet. If interested, support information can be found on the casing and a specialist will be happy to further explain this.

The adapter allowed for a constant connection with no troubles. The box comes with a medium sized ethernet cord (maybe 3 ft), adapter and installation CD. Unfortunately, my laptop doesn't contain a disk reader, however, a quick search online for the j5create website and there is a downloadable file on site. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. Will be using this in the future.
