Handy adapter for laptop w/o ethernet port

It was strongly suggested to use a wired connection, but our laptop doesn't have the right connector, so we bought this adapter. It initially didn't work any better than the Wifi connection, but we figured out that we had it plugged into the wrong place. Once we made that adjustment, it worked fine. We haven't used it much--our wifi is decent for most of what we do and the connection's not in a convenient place. But it's nice to have the option.

Great Ethernet Dongle

Because Lenovo, along with many other manufacturers are making their products too shallow to accommodate a standard size Ethernet port. Results: The plastic tab that holds the RG45 plug in place is under constant stress on theses laptops and are guaranteed to BREAK! The next laptop I buy will not even have an Ethernet port, so this Dongle will be mandatory in my near future.
