A Great Product!

I live in an apartment building with 305 apartments; I had sketchy internet service at best prior to purchase of this cable and adapter which plug my lap top directly into an internet feed. No more time outs, no more inability to log in. The system is perfect!

Many companies that manufacture laptops are foregoing Ethernet ports to slim down the size of the computer. An adapter like this will let you connect a wired internet connection when you need and is small enough to store in a laptop bag so you have it when you need it. Works fine on my MSI PC laptop. Some issues with online purchasing. Order would complete as submitted, but would receive subsequent email that Best Buy card could not be verified. Spent 45 mins with Call Center (middle east?) where agent could barely speak English and kept trying to cycle me back to Credit Card company (whom I had already spent 40 mins with).

A wired Internet connection is much better when you are doing virtual learning over video conferencing software. The wired connection will typically provide better speed and stronger connectivity so you will see less lag when compared to a Wi-Fi connection.
