When I found this on Best Buy I read it's compatible with Switch. I took it home and tested it. It worked like a charm, no need to set up anything. Our Switch detected it immediately and haven't had any kind of lag since. Excellent choice if you don't want to wait for a "compatible" adapter to arrive to your home.

Instant Gigabit speed connection to your computer. I have 500 Mbps up and down now and did not have a fast network card. In an instant now I do. With other OS you will need drivers first from the CD that comes with it if you do not have an internet connection at all before the adaptor, or using your present connection you can download them before plugging in the adaptor. It's even well made.

Good to hear that J5Create got your computer connected to the internet. A wired network connection’s biggest advantage over wireless is speed and consistency. We still do provide the drivers on a CD for those cases where you do not have internet access before you install the adapter.

Good quality build with aluminum case. Compatible with both macs and pcs. The only downside I can think of is that it doesn't work with the ipad full size USB connection camera kits that let you use gigabit over wire. This is not their fault but rather apple's proprietary design which makes it work with only their 100mb adapter or only 2 other non-apple products on the market.

Thank you for your review of the Ethernet adapter. The aluminum body of the adapter will give it additional protection from daily wear and tear. A wired internet connection is typically faster and more stable than WiFi.

The associate indicated which ones he thought were best and which one he would personally get. According to him, the one I bought not only worked as well as the others, but was smaller and less expensive.
